Have had this since day one as well. I think I tend to relax the foot while at lights in auto stop mode. Also, noticed on this thread that it is mostly the 392 gears that are affected.
In my experience with e torque it has worked flawlessly for what it does. It’s the same 5.7 Hemi with a different charging system & with stop start plus regen braking. There have been a small number of e torque briefcase batteries fail comparatively but the main battery is usually the issue e...
When its hot and you are calling for HVAC the stop/start will not operate until you get the cab temp close to where you‘re asking but you will not get the Unavailable message. The cause of this is almost always a low voltage issue caused by either the intelligent battery sensor or the MAIN...
Do you have a 3.6 or 5.7? The 5.7 MGU is air cooled only. You may be on to something with electrical issues and coolant loss if you have the Pentastar.
There you go introducing logic and data into what is for most an emotional and ideological decision to buy EV or hybrid. Everyday my V8 powered vehicles have dust kicked on them by rude phone fingering Prius and Pacifica Hybrid drivers that are obviously way more important and in a hurry than...
I don’t see this as a negative. Plenty of Chevy 350’s pulled boats and campers all over this country for 40years. You don’t need a Cummins or Duramax to tow. Im talking trucks, station wagons and sedans towing boats and Airstreams.
That would be cool 😎 and chill 🥶! My salesman in 2018 when I purchased my 2019 ET Rebel actually told me it was going to work just like that. It didn’t seal the deal for me but sounded good.... Shame on me for not looking at the drive belt from the compressor to the crankshaft which would tell...
I wouldn’t worry about it. In my experience If these charging system aren’t operating within acceptable parameters or a battery is weakened it will let you know pretty quick with CEL’s, chimes and possibly drop into limp mode. Enjoy that new baby!
Yes, I should have clarified the main battery was the one I replaced in the Rebel when it went wonky. My Dealer that I have purchased two ram 4x4s and one jeep from was like “ have it towed here and we’ll check it out and FCA may or may not warranty your 17 month old battery! Thanks for nothing...
🤣 That’s the problem with techs that are parts changers only, no innate diagnostic skills. It’s almost always the battery or IBS when this starts to in my experience. Have replaced both on the Jeep and the battery on the Rebel e-tourque. Back to 13.9-14.3 steady since.
Hello friend. I don’t know how old you are but I’ve been just like you for the last 40 years. I’m 58. It’s a sickness I wish I didn’t have! I have left my 2019 Rebel stock except for running boards and bed cover. I’ve been down this road so many times but you are exactly right. No matter how...
