2021 Ram Rebel With a Bad Transmission!

Keep taking it back until it is fixed and behaving normally. After repeated attempts you get to sue them in canada. I would recommend against using the camvap as it is not appealable.

Ecodiesel worth it if you live in the city?

As long as you get it on the highway and up to temp to cook off the soot in the DPF it'll be fine. It's the short trips that never let the DPF go to regen that cause problems, as well as the EGR system choking the engine. Getting it nice and hot under a load is what is needed to cook it all off.

22 in production RAM CASH expires before delivery..

Talk to your dealer and ping @RamCares Thats all you can do. The restrictions are "must take delivery by date" Some dealers will lock in incentives, some can't or won't. They all have a "slush fund" of dealer cash they can use to do whatever they want with. With the market drying up, its no...

Ecodiesel EGR System Service - expensive maintenance at Dealership

I used to clean soot by just pumping it full of O2 from a oxy acetylene torch and sparking it. poof no more soot. Every single blackstone lab I've ever seen on an Ecodiesel has very high metals and aluminum than would be expected. It's "normal" or a process wide failure in manufacturing.

    Renewable Diesel Fuel #2

Biodiesel is better than ultra low sulfur diesel for the engine itself. It's the dilution of the oil that's the issue long term. It should not have any water at all in it. Most water you get in diesel is from condensation. The more humid it is where you live, and the more the temperature swings...

    AT&T Hotspot stopped working

They don't have a hardcoded ICCID, they are an esim and can be provisioned remotely. All that's needed is the IMEI and whose IMEI that is so that they can use that manufacturers diagnostics to access the baked in back door for provisioning.

    AT&T Hotspot stopped working

The problem is Ram didn't/hasn't update their IMEI list with ATT. ATT purged everything, all IMEI wholesale there were not whitelisted by them due to the LTE shutdown. Somewhere some middle management bozos are happy they met some metric and meanwhile lots of people have lost services if they...

Best Tactical Flashlight to Keep in Truck

Yeah I have a friend who has flashlights everywhere, always getting newer fancier ones. Kinda like the friend with guns. I can't even sit on his couch without pulling out a pistol or two from the cushions. Whatever makes them happy enough to not veer any further into the crazy.

Best Tactical Flashlight to Keep in Truck

Lithiums shouldn't lose a charge from sitting. It parasitic draws like the state of charge meter where you press a button and the leds light up that cause them to drain if they stick or corrode. For lithium batteries the worst thing you can do is run them down and then let them sit, they will...

Oil Change by dealer = oil drips on my garage floor

I had a car go in for some fuel recall thing. They brought it up all done and it was running. I drive off and it was pouring gas out of the bottom of the car. I whipped it right back in and shut it off and told them to call the fire dept. I also had to go super karen before that was a thing to...

    No more diesel.......

Honestly I trust the nearest Hobo more than the average dealer tech.

    Ram shakes at all speeds

If you could find a way to safely lift the truck with all 4 wheels off the ground you could run it at speed and see if it still occurs. But that's really dangerous and I doubt any shop would do it for you. I wouldn't trust just jacking up the truck on stands either. If you only did the rear...

    Ram shakes at all speeds

Are you driving in 2wd, 4 auto or 4 high? Does it shift smoothly and quickly between them? Any difference in the modes? Don't use 4hi for road driving, but ok to test it for a few minutes. You could look at the driveshaft and see if you've picked up some crap, but it would've beaten you to...

    Ram shakes at all speeds

Only other thing I could think of to ask them to check is the runout on the tires, make sure they are round and that none of them are dented or malformed. Both the tires and the rims. Radius and lateral runout. https://www.tsw.com/explore-tsw-custom-wheels/wheel-radial-runout.php tried to...

    Ram shakes at all speeds

Mark the tires and rims too. A lot of places get way to liberal with the mouning lube and the tires walk on the rim and undo the balancing, particularly if you brake hard/late especially right after mounting. But it's so new, defineitely take to dealer and demand a road test with a tech to show...
