So as of 4/12 my truck is built and is in the "Shipping Phase" Ram Chat said they can't give me anymore information until it arrives at the dealer. I live in Virginia. Any guess how long before I get my hands on it?
Is there a way to track it on its way to my dealer? I called the dealer but...
Not sure if that would work but it's worth asking. Let us know how it turns out.
If you qualify, the Allstate $250 rebate should work though. See here for details. https://goodlife.allstate.com/interstitial/bonusdrive/
Log on and go under the section for a car loan. Scroll down and you will see Truecar Buyers Bonus. They have rebates for lots of different brands.
If you get a Ram truck you can get an additional $250 rebate from Allstate. You don't have to have insurance from them. Found the information on...
Not sure of the PENFED loan process but can't they Per-Qualify you for a loan and then finalize the loan when your truck arrives? That is what I am doing with USAA.
As built MSRP is $50,860 including destination charge. With dealer discount and FCA discounts you should be able to get that down another $8 to $9k.
Not sure why the are telling you it cost more to order the truck. I think that is BS.
I got my Laramie for 49k with the 12" screen and a lot more. Price should be the same for a truck on the lot or to order one. Price should be: MSRP minus dealer discount, minus FCA discount, minus other (USAA) discount you qualify for.
Ordered truck on 3/18. As of 3/26 dealer said no vin yet. Is this normal? I see posts where people get vin in a few days. Looking forward to being able to track its progress.
Ordered a 4 x 4 2019 Laramie 5' 7" bed , 5.7 Hemi non-E Toque, yesterday. Also got them to include local spray in bed liner.
This forum was very helpful. Many thanks to all for posting.
MSRP including destination fee was $60,025
Price was $49,257 + Tax, Title and Tags.
Berglund Chrysler...
I may be wrong about this. I was hoping someone would confirm or dispel this. From what I remember, they had problems in the crash tests and had to change the frame design.
2 Dealers have told me if you get the 5'7" bed you HAVE to get E Torque. Problem is I don't want the E Torque.
They said if you get the 6'4" bed you can get either V8 option
This was a very small Dealership and didn't have that many trucks in stock. They were willing to DX a truck from another dealer. I wonder if a Dealership that doesn't sell that many trucks isn't given the ability to put in an order all the time.
