Thanks @SpeedyV - I was not familiar with speaker-side filters that could handle the wattage. Had to do a lot of searching but found one to try. I'll post the results and I'm hoping that if it works, it might work on the factory sub and solve our problem.
Not sure if 200W is sufficient since...
EDIT - I've renamed this to "Success" as I finally figured it out! Skip to here to read the solution or keep on to read all the gory details.

I've got the 12" HK system and replaced the dash speakers with Infinity's years back. Easy, cheap...
I wanted to thank @Scap for recommending the CDT Audio speakers. I just installed the CL69S in all 4 doors and it now sounds amazing. And on top of that CDT has them on sale for $110/pr right now.
But, the 72-6514 adapters aggravated my ANC like I told her she looked fat. I've never heard such...
Well, nothing like making a post to find out you were wrong about something! After reading these replies I put a magnet on my rear doors and they are steel. I know I read somewhere in the launch marketing that Ram was using aluminum in the rear doors. I guess they would up not doing it and I...
UPDATE: I know I read somewhere that Ram was using aluminum rear doors in the launch materials back in '18 but after reading some of these comments below I put a magnet on my doors and they are steel. My apologies to RAM. I will now only blame children in parking lots - and their parents.
Now...
I looked hard at the rolling covers but just couldn't get over how much bed space I'd lose with the can they roll into. I went with an aluminum Bakflip and have loved it for 3+ years now. Keeps the honest honest, virtually weather proof, and can pop off quickly and then fits in the back of the...
Yes, no video but here's the short version from memory.
Remove bolt covers and four bolts from F/R of center console. You don't even have to unload it first.
Pull console towards rear of truck. There is enough cable play to allow this.
Unplug two USB mini cables and larger electrical cable...

Sorry I missed the part about you having two replacements. But maybe look at the paperwork and see if they replaced them with AD units vs. the new AE? If you've got AE then that clearly doesn't solve your issue.
I hear you. I had the valve hack in for months and then decided to take the plunge after a local guy had his successfully done. The only negative to my TSB was there were a few fingerprints left on the dash - easily cleaned. It's been like a different truck since then.
Not trying to change...
You could also just try replacing the hub. It's only $45 and to me that's well below the threshold of hassling with the dealer - even under warranty. Mine completely died and I just replaced it myself. Getting to it is easy. The hardest part is getting it to release from the console with two...
I waited until another member had the TSB done locally (without issues) and then went to the same dealer figuring I was now no longer the guinea pig. Came out perfectly with everything looking like it had never happened and almost a year later with no squeaks or rattles. I'm still driving around...
Just did mine as well with no issue. Did it with engine running and after radio restart and it went through the app updates (with text as each app installed just above bottom row of buttons) then shut it off. Left driver's door open for 5 minutes then removed USB stick. Restarted and everything...
I was on direct with passthrough disabled up until fw 1.8 - then I started having a lot of issues where it would hang with the white LED lit. I got tired of hacking it and ordered the Motorola. Not a single issue with it.
I did just flash the AAW to 2.0 but think I'd have to remove all mentions...
Years ago when I was in your situation, I ran across a post that explained it like no other. Not only did it make more sense once you thought through it, but it made the rig look and drive perfect. I still cringe when I see folks driving around with the truck squatting and the trailer end way up...
Could they do a better job with the fit/finish? Obviously yes, but I would absolutely reorder Ramboxes today. I don't expect perfection from something manmade. I did tweak my Ramboxes early on to make them fit better and have loved them since. It's one of the key reasons I chose a Ram and I use...
