Less than 2 seconds and it will start automatically. Anything longer you need to start it. I don't hit the gas, I simply hit the resume button on the steering wheel. Much easier in my opinion.

According to my dealer this module controls the lines and the splicing of all the cameras for the 360 surround view. They replaced it and my middle line in reverse is now there.

Mine is great. I use it in my building from over 100ft away. Through walls, etc. it always works. I double click the start as I leave my desk and its running when I get outside. Not sure why but the distance is nuts.
