TAZER DT for 2019 RAM 1500

Turn signal, DRL low beam and off. Thats it. They tried to get fog's as an option but the truck wont accept it at this time.

For those that want to add the factory trailer brake controller...

My dealer is $150 an hour. Took about the same amount of time. They charged me for 1/4 hour!

    Adding Factory brake controller?

You need to have the dealer add the sales code. Once that happens all will work as expected.

    WIFI

I get it. It’s not capped per say as much as the rate limit. Highly doubt they use QoS to do that although they may simply toss you into a scavenger class. But I don’t want all of my devices being rate limited because my kids burned through 22G of data. For me the extra cost is worth it.

For those that want to add the factory trailer brake controller...

I get it. It’s the Tazer DT but you know what I meant and yes I was hoping it would enable it but it doesn’t??? Still had to go to the dealer.

For those that want to add the factory trailer brake controller...

Nope. Not true. I have the Tazer. It would not activate the brake module. Dealer needs to add a sales code to the VIN.

That’s what the “module - trailer tow” is!

For those that want to add the factory trailer brake controller...

Grabbed it from the top and pulled back. The noise it made made me think I snapped it in half but it was perfectly fine. Nothing happened to it at all!

For those that want to add the factory trailer brake controller...

@SColang22 You need to order everything shown in the parts list above that @RedRocketZ28 posted. Copied again here for you. That is the controller, the switch, the mounting bracket and 3 nuts and screws to mount it all. I paid $122 with shipping! Much cheaper than buying the kit at the jacked...

For those that want to add the factory trailer brake controller...

Item #2. They charged me $37.50 to add the sales code. I also purchased all the parts separately for $122 shipped so the whole job cost me less than $175 total. No complaints here!!

    Backup Camera Centerline

I'm sorry but that is TOTAL BS. It was the Ram rep that told my dealer to replace it. All of them should have it, you paid for it! I actually use mine so I wouldn't take no for an answer. Also my dealer had no issue swapping it out and apparently programming it. I would ask for that reps...

    Tailgate light bar

Mines been fine so far. Took the winter without issue. Time will tell. I paid the xtra $ for the VIP warranty which I hear makes a huge difference.

    Adding Factory brake controller?

I used the whole, this thing is full of problems speech to and said you guys should do this cheap for me because of all the hassles. They didn't blink an eye.

TAZER DT for 2019 RAM 1500

Works on my truck with 360 view. The downside to me is that it disables NAV in motion. I also wish it would default to the rear wideview!

    hitch drop question

It all depends on your trailer. You need to measure your truck, then level your trailer on flat ground and measure that. At that point you can subtract the two and get your needed drop. Here is a good video explaining it. I have an adjustable hitch to accomodate a few different trailers I use.
