OEM is so much better and not much more $$. It uses actual sensor data from the truck so the braking is much smoother. An OEM controller only uses inertia which is why they are so hard to adjust and drive differently all the time. Just my .2c. As far as the harness there are 2 plugs that up...
I have a series 4 with cellular and it works without my phone. My phone can be home and the app still does whatever. I think that’s why they ask for the pin.
Glad to hear you’ve gotten smarter as time has moved on. There is nothing more seem less or smooth than the Apple
Ecosystem. Unless something DRASTICALLY changes I’ll be an Apple Watch, iPhone guy for life!
Sorry bud. Busy weekend. I set it while the truck was running with the engine off. Turned it off and clicked lock. I’ll make a video of it working when I get a chance.
I’d wait for all the feedback myself but with that said I have a LOT more coming. Needs to take some pics and try and draw up my thoughts. Give me a few more days and I’ll send a big email.

Set everything up as you want for person 1.. go ahead and ONLY have that key on you. Press S-1 and then immediately lock the truck with the key fob.
Go back and do the same for person 2 but also change the profile on the radio to person 2... the hit S 2 and then immediately lock the truck...
My understanding is that they are usually all the same parts and FCA simply changes the last letter based on supplier. As they change suppliers they change the last letter in this case E to F. I don't not think it is a new or redesigned part.
