OP described to a T what we had happening with my wife's jeep for the last 5 weeks on and off, except we could start the Jeep by pushing fob into start button.
First time it happened was just before xmas. Proximity or remote will not open door. use physical key, sets off alarm but once inside...

When I got in this am, the “what’s new” button just showed a blank page

I always thought volume should be on the left. Being on the right is only a foot away from the actual volume knob!

My Westin steps have held out well so far
But I noticed that 6-ish months after I installed them one of the screws holding the steps to the bracket was missing. I emailed Westin asking if I could buy a handful of spares.
Mind you this was right at the start of COVID and I figure it may take...
When I selected mine (just before COVID) this truck had all the musts I wanted. The 360 wasn’t one of them, was just a bonus…. That feature has been nothing short of amazing when going through tight spots (drivethru, and some campsites mostly)

I put a 5 USB port power brick in the console, and everyone/everything charges from that now (it also feeds my wireless charger in the slide out tray)
Got tired of everyone’s phone trying to take over the radio on trips.
It’s winter now so it’s in my coat pocket
In the summer I usually drop it in the drink holder in the door. Pretty much see the fob and other keys everytime I get out.
