Dude! I don’t disagree, but OP didn’t come on here to get flamed, he came on here for help [emoji1787][emoji1787]. Ultimately I know that’s what you are trying to do, but dam… indicting his entire skill base and his vision in a single reply is rough man.
Had it been sitting for a few days prior to the start where you noticed this?
Also, was the smoke definitely blue or white, or was it possibly blackish?
Each color likely a different thing.
Was it all the colors?? Lol.
The white I wouldnt worry about if you are not loosing coolant. Also...
And the springs are larger diameter since they wrap around d a 2.5” shock (nominal size anyway, Bilstien is odd with their exact sizing). Higher perch with smaller diameter springs, like oem or 5100s, could work maybe?
All I know is the “lifetime” LED bulbs I get for my house seem to burn out more frequently than the old incandescents. Expensive ones, cheap ones, tried them all.
If that same “quality” applies to LED automotive lighting I’d say just give me halogens.
But what I’ve owned so far hasn’t gone...
The Germans get seating right, particularly for people over 5'8".
Every Japanese vehicle I've owned the seats seem to be made for little people, and sadly domestic "family" vehicles are following suit too often.
Adjustable thiegh bolsters and a greater range of front-edge height adjustability...
Even that weight should be manageable with a proper setup.
By that I mean using a Weight Distribution hitch and arranging the cargo so that a) absolutely nothing other than strictly mandatory is in the truck (either cab or bed) and b) get tongue weight down around 13%, but not less than 10%...
I hear ya for sure, its just that.... all those TRXs and Raptors I see everywhere around me every day can't all be on their way to the desert all the time... can they? ;)
That's why if it should ever come around, I'm so down for a big-power street truck with that application in mind. We've...
It’s silly to go fast in a truck. Even look at the TRX and Raptor R and consider:
- neither comes with upgraded brakes
- both have tires poorly suited to spirited driving
- many cars and EVs are faster still than either for less money to acquire and operate.
Still, I’m glad they exist...
The Jeep commercial with Harrison Ford was pretty good, particularly the end. I didn’t put 2 and 2 together until the end that his name was FORD. Good for a laugh.
Otherwise that Glen guy from the Ram commercial owes me a bundle for my time and money wasted on Twisters. One of the worst movies...
I feel like 2022 was peak DT.
Could get a non-eTorque Hemi with your choice of screen size, both with UC5.
Quality seems peak too, as rear window leak seems less common by then, same with other minor things.
Aesthetically it was also the last year for fender flares on Laramie as well as...
Wow, so the HO has the fuel system to run full E85 right out of the box?!
This motor is going to be a monster.
Apart from that, numbers in E85 are not very relatable for pump gas users.
But their Map2 on pump gas shows increases of 80hp and 75tq - not too shabby.
Last interesting note is...
Absolutely. Where I was going with the questions was essentially Bilstien has the edge in handling and responsiveness, while the Eibachs have the edge in ride comfort.
They are not polar opposites; rather, that is just where each excels over the other. And they both handle better than stock.
Awesome!! Good to know for reference, and appreciate the specifics on the Klipsch. I had such high hopes for it. That is the only feature that I’d consider stepping up to the Tungsten for, so gathering reviews.
I think it’s crazy when manufacturers go to all the licensing and technical...
Curious what year your Silverado was, in as far as I’m curious about which Bose system you are benchmarking?
Modern Bose runs the gamut and I recall they made some changes for the 2019+ MY GM trucks which to my ear made a very big difference.
Both terrific options. Can’t go wrong.
I’ve had both the 5100s and the Eibachs on the same truck. Both are better than stock.
Note: I have the coilover version of the Eibachs, not the one that re-uses the stock spring. So I can’t say for certain about those.
But assuming both Eibachs have a...
I’ve had an issue with an F150 which was cable actuated, where snow and ice got onto the linkage and prevented the lever from physically shifting into the Park slot.
But the ZF 8 speed has no physical linkage… so I’d think an electronic issue? Water/ice in a harness? Whatever it was… no bueno.
