Ride quality is only a tithe of air suspension's benefits. A user might care for some but not for others.
Air suspension helps entry/exit; so do side steps, especially the deployable type... actually more practical (quicker) and easier to maintain.
It levels the truck with a heavy trailer; so...
The plot thickens. I only have the yellow bumper on the passenger side. It is not touching the retracted side steps.
On the driver side, I have a powered contraption.
That happened to me once on a Subaru after a brake job at the dealer; Intermittent parking brake operation. Traced that one to the EPB actuator's electric plug. It was dirty and loose. Cleaned it up, put dielectric grease and zip-tied it. Last time any of my vehicles saw the dealers (or other...
The foam seal that came with my BAKFlip was half exposed at cab side and degraded pretty quick due to sun exposure. I would use rubber seals for this application, not foam.
I was just looking at them this morning while lubing my power running boards. I thought they were meant as stoppers/dampeners for the boards when/after retracting!!
Yeah... I think Tesla are not even mentioning the Range Extender battery pack anymore.
Current batteries are too bulky and heavy to get to 500+ miles range on their own. I also think any newer, lighter, and faster-charging batteries will come (if they ever materialize) at a premium to recoup...
Just bought a HEMI Longhorn. Love my HEMI Longhorn. I'll drive it till it dies. Don't need more power... Don't want less roar.
When the inevitable happens and reasonable V8 choices are depleted, then I will probably look very favorably to the RAMCharger or something similar; 1) Plug-in, 2) Pure...
I did a few builds on ramtruck using my email address, and requested a couple of email quotes from local dealers. In time, you get a bunch of email ads from RAM, and buried between them a coded coupon specific to you... easy to miss or dismiss.
Added advantage is you get on RAM's radar, and eventually get a nice coupon that is usable online or at any dealer. I think I got $1,500 this way last spring, in time to use it for my '23 Longhorn.
I had my fair share of jumping on first year models: 2007 Audi Q7, 2007 Lexus LS, 2011 Honda Odyssey, 2015 Subaru Outback, and 2015 Toyota Sienna. Still have the last 4 in the family. Each one of them had its own "test mule" issues (three of them had engine or transmission replacement or...
If you cross-reference the 05149596AE PCM flash in the first document below, you'll see it lists the 18-050-23 TSB (second document), which relates to possible transmission limp mode triggered by the Start/Stop feature as the vehicle comes to a stop at, say, a traffic light. Happens to me every...

For a more thorough job with sticking boards, the following video might be helpful. He used, in sequence, a wire brush, rust penetrant, WD-40, Fluid-Film. Seems to know what he's doing.
Skip the near-base Limited. Who would buy it from you down the road and out of warranty... almost none of the perks, except for the time bomb of an air suspension?
Definitely take it in for warranty work (or at least to inspect/report the problem) ASAP. Can be a faulty valve or something that is taking its sweet time to fail. 700 miles can go pretty quick, so watch that odometer until your appointment. Fixing air suspension out of pocket can get very...
