I agree with the coupons an oil change is cheap but it does require the dreaded trip to the dealer and for each of mine they have over filled the oil each time and o looked and yes the filter (I have the 4x4) is a b*tch but I am still going to do it myself.
I watched a segment of Engine Masters...
Ma1enemy if you looked at the photos they have online you would have seen that it does not go all the way to the bumper.
i have not found anyone that sells one for that area, but I am happy with the Dethloff one as it does protect a very sensitive area.
Bought the weathertech set and threw the fronts away and went with husky ones, much softer but kept the weathertech rear as it is on piece and smooth.
just like the softer husky for the front
Which glove box? The upper or lower and where is the scratch at in the glove box? If it is on the inside why worry if you close the door you can’t see it.
otherwise you could try and use fine grit sandpaper and sand/smooth it out or replace it the scratched part.
My concern would be dirt/dust getting between the paint and the cover as that would definitely scratch the paint.
so do you remove the cover each time and clean the inside?
seems like using a bike rack would be better?
Thekidcasual very simple and easy install really.
hardest was loosening the existing nuts/bolts.
i used a floor Jack to hoist it up into place so one might need a second person.
but the fit was perfect
Added engine and tranny skid plate from Dethloff man.
i have the 4x4 off-road package but for some reason FCA does not think you need a skid plate for the engine.
not just for off reading but in case you run over something on the road.
simple and easy install.
complete package.
Gregg72 I broke mine as well and ordered a new one
adter I installed the new one I took a good look at the original (broke ) one and realized that it could be easily repaired as it seems the knot slipped out.
so now I have a spare
Installed mine and then removed it and am using a big plastic storage container instead. So mine is just collecting dust.
I would sell it but to hard to ship.
