Aftermarket exhaust when towing a camper regrets?

With the B2 fab moderate muffler and pulling our 5500lb TT 311 miles to just outside Yosemite, the sound levels were barely noticeable. Could hear the exhaust for a little section where the RPMS dropped down to 1600 but only for a couple minutes.

Aftermarket exhaust when towing a camper regrets?

I have a B2 Fab “moderate” exhaust. We’re towing our TT to Yosemite Monday and can write back how it did. As far as towing the trailer around town, you can definitely hear the rumble but there’s no obnoxious drone like my old magnaflow.

    Welcome fellow Californians!

I’m in Temecula too. Outside of 4WP and ORW, look at Mufflers West and Ranch Mufflers, not just muffler shops but also suspension. Nexgen may be able to help too. They put on my 6112s.

    B2 Fabrication exhaust.

I threw on the moderate muffler couple months ago and love it. A little volume on cold starts then mellow around town with zero drone on freeway. When you get on it, it has a nice deep tone, not too overbearing. Towing it’s noticeable at times but not bad by any means.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Removed both front air dams after nailing it on a rock last time out. Adds a bit of clearance and looks better too. Now to find a skid plate to protect the engine gap. Think I saw some having luck with Dethloff? Maybe Shift and grins was working on fabbing one?

    2022 Heat issues

Mine was doing the same but with AC. Turn fans up to high and sounded like air was blowing in the right side dash with minimal air from vents. Then cold air went out. Now no air from vents. Heat and defroster work no problem though. Appointment with the dealership for next week.

    WDH with airbags help

Saw that too. Talked to Steven from timber grove about it too. He agreed due to my stance and amount of sagging when hitched and bed loaded airbags would be a good addition to level the truck back out. Then let the WDH do it’s job

    WDH with airbags help

Still haven’t been able to get the trailer yet. Fire department mandatory shifts are out of control right now. Recently saw that from Timber Grove too. I’ll give that a shot and some others too. Will most likely have to adjust the L brackets due to new ride height. Hopefully I get some days off...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Bags held up great. I was able to flex and hit some little whoops around 20-25, nothing to max out the suspension or bags. No squeaking or clunking. They rode just like they did before I put them in at 5psi. Loved it.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Finally installed my Timber Grove ASAM bags. Install went pretty smooth. 5psi rides like pre install. Set up the fill valve at the license plate. Went offroading at Wildomar OHV and bags held up great, no issues with articulation or pressure loss. Picking up the trailer to adjust the hitch in a...

    WDH with airbags help

Thanks for the responses. Found my WDH manual if I need to adjust the L brackets or washer and I’ll give TG a call tomorrow and see what Steve recommends. When I can finally get a day off work I’ll try a couple methods and see what works best.

    WDH with airbags help

Thanks for the replies. I have the Husky Centerline TS. Could it be just as simple as air the bags up to desired PSI, then adjust the ball hitch on the drop shank to where the trailer is level without sag? Or would I have to adjust the washers and L brackets for angles?

    WDH with airbags help

Hey all, I have a 24’ travel trailer I tow with the truck. I have the 6112s up front and a 1” block in the rear leaving me about 1/2” rake. When I tow with the WDH, truck sags a good amount but have no sway, good control, no issues other than sagging. When I load the bed it’s worse. I have the...

    Off-roading with airbags

Wasn’t sure if I should put this in off-roading, towing or suspension. Sooo ended up here haha Looking to get a set of the Timber Grove airbags for the truck for towing our travel trailer. I like to do some off-roading when camping, washboards, little whoops, minor articulation. Question is...

    34's vs 35's

285/70r18 Ridge Grapplers. Mathematically come out to 33.9”. Mounted I’m right at 33.0”. 6112s set at 2.6 1” block in the rear

Any of you guys have done 6112's in the front ?

It squats, it’s noticeable. From what I can tell, it hasnt effected steering or ability to tow, breaking or anything like that. I’m putting airbags on it in a couple weeks. Wanted it done before the next camping trip but wife just surprised me with a Yosemite trip next week haha. I’ll see if I...
