Somewhere in this thread a member posted pics of him just prying the bezel off w a trim removal tool. Scroll through from the beginning you will find it.
Found a set of 35x12.5x22 Milestar Patagonia AT for 187 a piece at Walmart.com
Did some research on them and it looks like they have some good reviews (quiet, durable and great traction) by a lot of Jeep owners running them and a few 2500 truck owners, so I think for the price they are a good...
What kind of mpg hit did you take with the lift and tires? Still happy w the Tire Brand you selected? Debating those or the less aggressive Radar Renegade AT
305/45 is just wider than the original, no? I guess it is slightly taller. I am so torn what to do. Would love to see pics of yours installed. Planning to level or lift?
I haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet. It is a lot of money so I am doing my due diligence on it before I pull the trigger. Pricing out all new wheels and tires as well, since I could likely get a set for only a few hundred more. I keep coming back to getting the factory rims and bigger...
Today I was driving home from lunch with the fiance and while driving I tapped the "seat controls" app on the 12 inch display to turn up the ventilated seats. When in there the only buttons i could tap were the mirror dimmer and the backup camera buttons. All other controls (heated steering...
Can’t upload my movies to this thread, took some vids before and after my install today (did it by myself in my driveway, never done anything like it before) of the B2 MF muffler. IT IS AWESOME! Just the right amount of rumble, and not overly obnoxious. Neighbor was outside when i started it up...
If you look closely it doesn't look terrible, but you can see imperfections. Some pooling inside the letters where i put it on too thick and it settled due to the angle they were sitting at because of the tabs on the back of the emblem. It could be from me plastidipping for the first time. If I...
Hood emblems done. Had some plastidip pool in the I of the word hemi, and the adhesive I used was a little too thick. It works for now, we will see how it holds up in Florida sun this summer. I may just buy the whole bezel for 120 and have it ready to go whenever the imperfections start to annoy...
There is adhesive and clips. I used a hair dryer on it for about 5 minutes, then some fishing line, then used a flathead screwdriver leveraged on some paper towel to get it going, then just pulled it off, it took some muscle. It also came off in layers. First the chrome outer layer came off, ten...
Ram head on the tailgate is clipped. Same with hood emblems (I believe) sport hood def is, cant speak to other hoods. All other letting (ram side, Laramie tailgate, 4x4 tailgate) all just adhesive.
What a great start to the weekend. Drove up to the delivery of black letters and body paint matching decals. Took about 15 mins to put the decals on the letters, remove chrome ones, and insert black/red ones. I think it looks so much better.
I also found "Color matching" decals on ebay. I plan to take off the chrome letters, and put the color matching decal on the black letters i ordered. Should look nice on the sport grille. Deleting all the other chrome on the truck too. Will post pics soon. Black letters come this week, color...
I was thinking about spraying all the plastic on the hood (vents and bezel) with bed liner, but I am worried it won't stick and if it doesn't work out and comes off spotty It will be a pain to remove so I am going to try palstidip and see how that goes. Worst case scenario I just pull it off...
@wildh24 Any recommendation on what kind of tape to use? What did you use? I am going to pull mine off this weekend and spray them. Just waiting on the plastidip.
