18% Grades with fully loaded RAM 1500? Stupid or not??

I’m not in the transmission business. That’s good to know! Thank you. Would you advise downshifting as opposed to braking on these 5th gens?

What do I need to do to level out my truck?

Yeah. Anytime suspension was needed (turning in to a driveway, driving over bumps/ potholes etc) it was super bouncy. Springs aren’t meant to be compressed like that and also provide a nice quality ride. I know alot of folks go this route but I’ve tried it and it’s not for me, especially with...

18% Grades with fully loaded RAM 1500? Stupid or not??

I was given some advice one time that resonated with me. Don’t ever gear down to save brakes. Brakes are much cheaper to replace than a transmission.

What do I need to do to level out my truck?

A leveling kit will most certainly alter your riding experience, in my opinion. I had a 2” Readylift top hat spacer installed on my ‘19 and hated it for two years until I traded in and spent extra money for Fox 2.5 coilovers. Best decision I ever made as far as ride quality. Just my two cents.

Why is the crew cab with the 6.4 bed not a popular option?

I’m 6’3 and also have used the bed to camp outdoors. I don’t want the tailgate down due to the potential of bears licking my toes. Seriously!

    BDS 6in lift

Nice truck. Wheel/tire combo is spot on. I especially like how it doesn’t have the lifted saggy look in the rear. Others should take notice. Well done.

Why is the crew cab with the 6.4 bed not a popular option?

My 450 unfortunately does not in my 6.4 bed. It’s either tailgate down or one diagonal.

    FOX 2.0 Coilovers

Why is the crew cab with the 6.4 bed not a popular option?

Oh no you didn’t! Clearly the city boys are getting in on the truck action and driving up demand for short trucks. But I would never get a short box.

Funny there was a post today of a guy trying to sell his running boards and everyone was like hey man we don’t even know where you are.

    Level now, 6" lift later......

I think you will be happy with that decision. Cheers buddy and have fun putting your setup together.
