I have a rebel and had the bedstep ordered and installed myself. Mine doesn't make any contact no matter how hard I retract it. Just a thought without actually getting under the truck but could clearance not be created by adding a washer on each bolt between the frame and the step bracket?

Yeah I'm not sure why the latches are placed where they are; doesn't really make sense.

So I just decided to tackle this job and it wasn't so bad. The worst part was peeling the fabric off of the rear corners. Took me about an hour and a half to move the front and rear clamps. It's much better now.

I'm interested in changing this as well. USB stick just made sense to go inside the centre console, out of harm's way. Anyone find a solution?

The one in the backseat is connected to the head unit and the one in the console is just for charging. I'd like the one in the console to be connected to the head unit so I can keep my usb stick in there out of the way.

I'm curious to know if there anyone has rewired the usb inside of the bucket seat center console? I'm wanting to swap that usb with the one in the back seat labeled as usb3. I ultimately want to have my usb thumb drive inside of the console as I did in my 2018. Wondering if this is easily changed?

That's what I was thinking but I wasn't sure because my galaxy note 9 won't fit sideways and won't fit in the slot standing up without the case taken off.

I'm wondering if anybody knows what the slot in the back of the little storage area above the 8.4 screen is intended for? The 12v plug is up there too.
