The stock Bridgstone Dueler H/Ls would probably be OK on a just plowed street after it snows. OK siping and a bunch of tread blocks although the tread is not deep at all. Think as a wet weather tire.
That said-they really won't cut it where I live, so come August I will put on either a set...
It's sort of that simple and sort of not. There are a few companies out there that offer a streamlined application process to satisfy several state's non resident permission slip requirements. Utah and Florida are popular. You'll have to go to each state your passing through website to ensure...
Concur with reading up on the laws of each state. Also know how to "legally" transport firearms through unfriendly states.
According to your state, WA state licenses are not recognized by many states. https://www.atg.wa.gov/concealed-pistol-license-reciprocity Note that their list does not...
I had AVS's in channel window vents on my Tacoma and loved them when I was living in the south. I took them off once I retired north. About the only "problem" I had with them is when I ran through a car wash it wouldn't dry under it and left water spots. I'm too lazy to get out and dry...
Flip it over.
***I am also annoyed by having a fricken donut as a spare. I would even more annoyed if I was stranded on the side of the road while towing and all I had was some half *** donut meant for a Prius.
I found an OEM 20" rim on ebay and am having an inexpensive E rated 275/60/20...
I hate neoprene seat covers. Just not my thing at all. What I like about the coverking is the dense nylon material. It will last a long time. I knew because of the material choice, it would be a bulky fit, just kind of annoyed at the back seats.
Honestly, if it wasn't for the side...
Yesterday: LED lights inside using this kit: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KRNMK8L/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I figured it is cheap enough, so if they break, I can buy something else next time. Huge improvement over the OEM halogens.
Today: Coverking...
Yeah, you've got a lot going on with that thing.
As to your original question-zero problems with mine other than the normal losing signal when I go behind a hill.
Not accounting for the obvious technical glitches you are seeing, but do you typically get good satellite signal with other devices where you're at? Lots of them tend to struggle the further north you get. Anything large just to the south of you?
Good luck.
While many people have no issues with the fumoto's, I'm not a fan. IMO, too many things can go wrong.
I had a Valvomax on my Tacoma and just ordered one for my 21 Ram. https://www.valvomax.com/collections/quick-twist-valve?
Have you looked through reviews at Tire Rack or similar to find tires in your size/load range with decent wet weather ratings? Noise is subjective-to me anything that isn't a mud tire is quiet. Perhaps a mild all terrain tire such as a Cooper AT3 variant. I went through a couple sets on a...
Replaced the driver's side high and low beams. with better halogen bulbs than OEM. Who is the yeast infected vagina that came up with this setup for changing bulbs? Long sleeves next time.
Why only the driver's side you may ask. Well somehow while trying to find the hole by feel-finding a...
Interesting as my March build date truck that I bought middle of April has the OEM controller-I need to figure out the sweet spot for the 60PI-12 I picked up yesterday from a Big Tex dealer.
but anyways, I just came out of a Tacoma and people are all about flashy clean installs there. Lots of...
Also in the no weight camp for 4WD vehicles. Driven pick ups much of my life and have lived in three different New England states, Indiana, and Alaska. This is my first year in a truck with the "auto 4WD" thing, but I probably won't use it much-TBD on that.
Good tires, occasional use of 4Hi...
