Uhhhh, found moisture behind seat right below the slider window..it has been crazy rain here, I can feel wet harness wrap. Cant find the frame crack in slider but time to call dealership under special extendo warranty. Hope it covers my passive entry problem. Maybe it will dry out and work again.
These guys…trust but verify…if you are 5th Gen it is sealed, doubt the stealership even checked, there is a little level plug on test port you can pull at about mid temp next to pan with hex drive. I have not changed fluid and filter on this one but pretty sure zf 8spd fluid is dark greenish...
Seems right as measured by truck…I can get 13-16 on highway, 70mph, 35s 6” lift, I feather MDS looking for the tiny eco light or draft off someone. I chose no stop start 48v system, paranoid about oil pick up timing.
It is all about the glide, let the tranny settle in. Otherwise, average...
After cleaning and exercising TB manually and some spray on Maf I have had zero recurrence in months! However, I realized this week on changing air filter that I did not fully seat PCV line onto intake stub. Reseated and if it occurs now will change PCV valve.
Went through the design of the system and based on the failure mode I think I have lost the near field antenna, the reason why passive entry loss and key fob detect alarm. Does anyone know which antenna is the near field and where it is?(hope it is the $7 one below…)
Really clean, color scheme and stance is perfect, you will still have handling but plenty of clearance.
I am running 38s as well, healthy 10% offset on speedometer…just haven’t had time to get into it. I just have to know 80 mph is 90+ish mph…but now that CA GOV wants speed cameras instead of...
Anybody fix this?
My history: Rained real hard here in Santa Cruz for a few days. 2019 1500 Laramie all options, 60K, only 1 software issue, back cam went black, reset with battery disconnect. I did have it pop out of drive at stop signs once or twice, throw lights and have to cycle to park and...
Done both manifolds on my 2019 did this passenger on 3rd Gen too, same mileage under warranty. Stallantics have a full program and safety stock kits staged, it is that bad. Passenger twice on my 3rd Gen, if stealership is not looking closely they think all bolts are tight, usually rear bolt...
Replying to my self here @RamCares. (Not) I cleaned air flow sensor, throttle body and exercised full range of motion including over travel of throttle body position sensor 2dozen times. No issues for last week and about 20 drive cycles. My theory is position sensor builds up oxidation in close...
Same issue, 19 ram 5.7 no etorque, 35” 3.92, no tunes or intakes. Slowing to a stop, it lurches forward/thumps on downshift and kicks to neutral. No issue until about 50K. I do see really low rpm and trying to see if eco was on..danger…this needs a recall, ala carte warranty work and blanket...
I have the same thing, 2019 50K miles, lrm, 5.7. 6” lift, 35” on 3.92. Happens cold and slowing down sub 5mph to stop sign, tranny downshifts a little harsh, it slips to neutral, blinking, asking to go to park before it will engage. Kinda dangerous, you don’t always notice until you are reving...
