So at this point we don't conform to commas strict safety standards to how much torque is allowed to be applied to sthe steering wheel and other panda safety stuff that is written in C++ and it is a pain to get everything to work nicely in the firmware how Comma wants it done. But we don't touch...
Think of it like Apple vs Android. Tesla Autopilot is Apple, all of their hardware is specially made by Tesla and the software is kept behind a lock and key and it is all proprietary information to Tesla. Comma is the android because their hardware is literally a smartphone with 3d printed...
Right now RAM is a community supported port not officially supported by Comma. What I will be doing for a little bit if you don't feel comfortable building the wiring harness yourself is building them for people if they send them to me. I am trying to get a lot of attention to the RAM port...
The truck I currently have it on is my own and it is a 2021 Limited with Level 1 equipment group. And my dealer said they would still cover warranty related problems as long as it is not caused by the hardware I added.

It is brand new to open pilot and a community supported port so it isn't perfect but it works! And the more people who use it then the higher the chances for official support are.
I successfully have my truck driving itself! You can do it to. It just requires a comma 2 made by comma.ai. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oyiiLsG5oXGtFkJMdLI2CP76zOdzBpTP/view?usp=drivesdk
I have a 2021 RAM 1500 with Lane Sense and ACC i am also very interested in comma.ai I assume that is what this is about. I would like to help in the development of this to make it compatable for my truck if i can
