Last I checked, my dealer did not have any Limiteds available for sale, but there is a Limited Longhorn that is close (it has a pano roof, which I don't, but it is missing the air suspension). One of the new build sheets @triple_B found this morning is for a limited that is nearly identical to...

My dealer is a high volume shop (currently 29 33 2022's listed for sale with window stickers), and most of them have higher VINs than my order which has not even gone to D1. Most of the VINs listed on their website appear sequential with at least one other (i.e., 153348-153354, 173219-173220)...

I'm happy to start taking bets. Line starts at +115 for @monkeypunch, +275 for @Werfs Flammen, and +415 for @KWKSLVR (sorry buddy, but that Max Steel is too hard to ignore). All donations bets can be sent to @5thgenbets on CashApp. 🤣

@KWKSLVR... You aren't going to like this, but go ahead and click on the red X for the first VIN.

They don't have any Limiteds listed.

    2022 Orders

So, I had been holding off looking at my dealer’s website since I know they don’t control the manufacturing process (and, therefore, don’t control when trucks get sent to them), but I just looked. On one hand, I’m happy to report they have no Limiteds being sent to them. On the other hand, they...

No need to apologize! You are going above and beyond to give us all a heads up as to what is going on. Thanks for what you are doing.

My main concern with hydrogen fuel cells, and the hydrogen used therein, is how flammable it is. There is a safe way to use them, but we live in a society where people do very stupid things regularly.

I think EVs are fine for local trips, but if you've ever had to go on a road trip with one, it's an effort in futility. If you want to understand what I'm talking about, go here and enter your location and somewhere you typically road trip and see what you have to do if you have an EV. Then, map...

Not 100%, as my truck is supposed to come with a digital rear view, so a tri-fold blocking the rear window may not be an issue. However, I have the Bak Revolver on my 2019 and I love it. It's incredibly sturdy, easy to use, and has held up perfectly since I installed it back in October 2019.

What a total clustertruck. My current theory as to how trucks are getting built and which options are being included:

    2022 Orders

While I have no problem dropping deuces on CA all day long, we are treading perilously close to the sorts of political talk barred by the forum. So, in an effort to get things back on track... Other than the BAK Revolver X4, does anyone know of any locking tonneau covers for the 2022's that...

Just find a reportedly trustworthy mechanic and give him incentives. $100 for the inspection, and an additional $5 for each legitimate issue he identifies. That way, he's invested in finding everything wrong with the truck, to the extent anything is wrong.

I don't know how it works on the UC5, but on the UC4, you click on the Apps icon which brings up a menu that contains an icon for "Wi-Fi Hotspot." If you click on that, you can turn the hotspot on and off.

It could be that your build was flagged for some incompatibility or lack of parts, and your dealer is asking if you want to proceed without the pano (and get your truck soon), or wait for the pano. Regardless, you need to immediately ask your dealer to send you a POC or give you your deposit...

    2022 Orders

I think it is up to the dealer, but in the past, I've taken delivery of a new vehicle and had them put on some accessories and the dealer agreed to include that in the sale price for purposes of utilizing the 0% financing.

While I'm glad they have some incentive, it sucks that it expires on 11/1, as there are many people who ordered trucks early enough to have taken delivery by then, but will not be able to do so because said trucks still haven't been built. Of course, it is only 0% for 48 months, which equates to...
