I'll one up you... try finding a C2 coupe in any condition for less than $300k. I'd be happy to pay the $300k if the car were worth it, but all the C2's I've found have been bastardized and just aren't worth it to me.
I'm sure it isn't any consolation to you, but I'm still not D1. I've just resigned myself to the fact that my truck won't get built until they get a new copy machine in the business office of SHAP. It's clear my order fell off the desk and under the copy machine, only to be found when they take...
I love seeing a VIN 70,000+ higher than mine, with basically all the same options I have, with a build sheet, while my order is languishing in D status. LOVE. IT.
You realize it is 2021 right now, right? If the dealers told you they won't be manufacturing those trucks until January 2023, you have over a year to go.
Not trying to sway you one way or the other, but I ran into the same issue with the first few dealers I called about the Sierra Denali Ultimate. However, I was ultimately able to find a dealer who was willing to dip below MSRP (to be fair, I didn't find the dealer, another forum member did and...
Me, too. Maybe Stellantis does the right thing and gives these owners a complete refund (taxes included) plus a discount on a new truck/priority for a new build. Of course, seeing as how Stellantis has handled everything else to this point leads me to believe these owners are in for another...
Some of us have written, signed documents showing what price we will pay. A subset of this group has an actual price that is "locked-in" (i.e., the dealer signed a document showing that the price to be paid upon delivery is a fixed number), and a subset of this group has a formula that is...
I can't speak to other states, and I'm not a Lemon Law lawyer (nor am I the lawyer for anyone on this forum), but Texas' Lemon Law wouldn't apply because a pre-condition for application of the law is the manufacturer refusing to address the issue. Here, Stellantis has proposed a solution, which...
As a lawyer, I see major lawsuits coming from this. Evidently, Stellantis has found a flaw in at least 22 trucks, which flaw makes them unsafe to drive. Yet, they will not begin buying them back until early next year? And of course, the owners of these trucks can't legally sell these vehicles...
The new sales guy could be saying that he won't be able to match the price you have on your order, so you won't be receiving the price protection (i.e., "losing") from him. Did you mention to him you are still thinking about buying the ordered truck?
I'd just ask for clarification from him as...
Well, that's only a correct percentage if all the trucks were built with defrost capabilities. I heard that, in an effort to streamline builds, Ram has started removing capabilties like defrost, wiper blades, transmissions, and engines. So, maybe only 1,000 trucks were built with defrost.
