    2022 Orders

I can attest to this not being the case on the UC4. On my first road trip with my 2019, the WiFi hotspot lost connection and the entire display froze on our way to the mountains. I called Ram support and they had me turn the truck off, wait 10 minutes, and then turn the truck on and turn the...

    2022 Orders

Yes, but each is a different scenario. Turning the radio of the phone off is not the same as the radio being on and not having service. In the first instance, the radio is not searching for a signal, in the latter, it is; it could be the searching to no avail is causing the problem. Either way...

Well, then we should expect the 8.4" screens to have some issues, as well.

    2022 Orders

I only took a few programming classes in college (degree in applied and computational math, not comp. sci.), but as I understand it, the UC5 12" would require different software, if only for the GUI, to properly display on the 12" screen. But, I'm not a software expert or implementation...

    2022 Orders

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think any other vehicle has a 12" UC5. Just like when the 2019 1500's came out, several other vehicles already had UC4, but none had the 12" UC4.

    2022 Orders

Not to be that guy, but I can all but guarantee this is just the start. I had multiple issues with the my 2019's UC4, and after all the trips back and forth to get stuff fixed (that would never really get fixed), I figured out that the issues can be ephemeral but horribly disruptive, and dealers...

Yeah... but Cara sounds HOT. 🤣 Sorry for the bad joke, but there needs to be some levity here before we all go nuts waiting for trucks to get built.

You can't go wrong with the Defenders... that's what I use here in Southeast Texas and they are excellent in the rain, smooth, and quiet. And, if you have a Costco membership, you can generally get them installed for about $900 (for the 20").

What… you don’t want to pay $2k per month to get 0% financing? 😂

Am I missing it, or do the window stickers not show the bed size or wheelbase?

Congrats @Bay Area RAM and @feuerdog; @Mr.Grid, you are dead to me.

You have that backward. The higher the residual value, the less you pay monthly. Generally speaking, your monthly payment is calculated by subtracting the sales price from the residual value, then dividing by the number of months of your lease. So, a sale price of $70k and a residual of $50k...

It means that several of us with VINs in the 100-120 range are going to find out who you are and come to your house with pitch forks and torches. But, congrats on the movement. The build sheet means that your vehicle has been built. It will still need to go through inspection and get put on a...

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, I promise. It could be that softer, more forgiving tires could help (in fact, I don't see how they wouldn't help), but a buddy of mine has a '19 with the 22's. About a month after buying the truck, he popped both front tires (he was having construction done...

    2022 Orders

I meant no disrespect with my response to you, and I didn't mean "callous" to be a pejorative. To be clear, the TL;DR of my response to you is: "That's tough but fair." As far as polling people in the forum, I have not. However, most who have chimed in on the issue have stated they were told...

    2022 Orders

While I don't agree with the callousness of your response and logic, the simple fact is that most, if not all, of us were told by dealers that our special orders took precedence over stock orders. So, I'm sure you can imagine why many are upset that their specially ordered trucks are taking a...

Yes. The air supsension is excellent, but there is only so much it can do when a 5,000lb+ truck is riding on 45 aspect tires. I love the look of the Night Package, and I really wanted it, but I couldn't deal with the difference in ride quality between the standard 20" tires and the 22" tires...

There is definitely a difference. I test drove a '21 with the Pirelli's and it was a much rougher ride than my '19 with 20's. So much so that it completely dissuaded me from ordering the Night Package on my '22.
