Well, we’re really trying to slow down our vehicle turnover frequency, at least with one of us. Problem is that any new vehicle is getting harder and harder to justify as a long term keeper. Too many things to go wrong with it and very expensive when they do go wrong. I’ve just about come to...
Sometimes they will surprise you...
They offered my in-laws $10,500 for their pristine 2007 Toyotee 4Runner 2WD WITH 70K miles on it. Carvana offered $8290.00 so I figured Carmax would come back with $6-$7k. We were surprised.
The in-laws decided to sit on the offer for 6 days while I tried...
I believe I recall seeing that very same question about ventilated seats on allpar and the question was answered by one of the salesman members of the site and mentioned the elite package or something to that effect. I’m sorry I just don’t have time to go look for it right now.
I believe you can order the new rebel with something called the elite package that has ventilated seats and maybe the 12 inch screen. . You might want to check on that.
Whenever you enter in your destinations it will give you what it considers the fastest route. But before you hit “GO”..check the alternatives menu. I have used this several times to make sure it goes away I want to go.
Yup, We have lane departure warning on my wife’s Discovery Sport. That piece of annoying, frivolous tech was disabled within the first week. LOL!
I hope the MPGs climb after some more miles get put on the truck. That’s really no better than a non etorque truck on the highway. I’d easily get...

The weather map is kinda hit and miss at the speed that it pulls up. Sometimes its fast, other times its slow. It’s been that way since my 2013 Laramie to my 2018 Power Wagon.
Lol tons of comments like this in EVERY brand’s enthusiasts forums. If you think customer service, vehicle issues or parts availability will be any better with Chevy..or any other brand..you’re severely mistaken. These ain’t your parents vehicles or car companies. Be patient and stay on top of...
Let’s be clear here. In normal driving, this S/S operatesjust fine. It works just like the S/S does that I’ve been used to for the past three and a half years. ETorque just seems to be working quietly behind the scenes.
Let’s be clear again, I made four hard excelleration runs. The system...
The smell could be normal...don’t know for sure but I’m sure it will be common knowledge soon enough if it is.
The “pause” at hard acceleration with S/S activated was a bit concerning, especially since it happened twice. It COULD be an anomaly??? But we’ll see I guess. I’ve never experienced...
Thanks!
I’ve bought a lot of brand new vehicles and you always get that new car “burn off” but I’ve never experienced anything like that before LOL! You could definitely tell there was an electric motor under the hood.
Watched the Alex on autos video. It confirmed what I mostly knew and a few things I didn’t. I find it interesting that one of the possible issues was decreased performance in hot weather. The day we drove the truck, it was 102 degrees.
I took a look in my truck. I found a sticker with GVWR and then there’s a sticker with tire info that gives a gross cargo/passenger rating. Which just happens to be a few hundred pounds less than that of RAM’s advertised max payload capacity for the Power Wagon. Interesting and confusing.
Notice the *when properly equipped in small print. He insisted this is VIN specific. I’m still taking that with a grain of salt until I get another confirmation. I am buying the claimed 1,528 to 2,302 lbs payload and 6,280 to 8,590 lbs towing numbers a bit more.
This truck does have 3.92 and air...
