If so, and people are still flashing you, then you have really bright lights and should probably aim them down a little bit more than they are. It's just common consideration. Flashing once in a blue moon from a low riding car is understandable, but really you shouldn't be getting flashed...
You got me! I had serious doubts about your character.
That Honda would feel like a cheap tin can compared to your RAM.
I dread the day we all have to move to vehicles more like that Honda.
If people are frequently flashing you then your lights may need adjutsment.
I always aim my own headlights including my last two vehicles with LED's and I NEVER get flashed.
I'm glad you're concerned. Nothing burns my a$$ more than people who don't care about blinding oncoming traffic. Selfish f*ckers.
I will tell you a very simple, very quick way to ensure they are aimed correctly.
You'll need an allen head type wrench to adjust them. White plastic receivers...
Does YOUR phone play music through the USB2 port?
I know a lot of trucks have glitchy USB ports. Mine won't do Carplay from the USB3 port even though it's supposed to.
This is the equivalent of the 'Coronavirus' for our RAM 1500's.
-You wait your turn to get the vaccine. (1st window replacement)
-Then you get a booster every year or two (new replacement window)
-Never ending cycle.
Ram should be ashamed.
Currently there is no MDS disabler available for 5th Gen Rams; including Range Technology.
It seems as if the 5th Gen's are real bugger to permanently disable the MDS system.
There's going to be a run on the steering wheel 'gear limit' buttons in another year or so.
Balancing isn't always the issue.
For a truly smooth ride you need to index the tire to the wheel to cancel out the 1st harmonic of irregularities between the tire and wheel. (aka Road Force)
Road Force testing/fixing is very much like noise cancelling headphones. You are attempting to cancel...
Actually, I've read that OEM car manufacturers get the best, most balanced tires from the tire manufacturers.
Basically they get the most balanced tires which already have the high/low spot marked. The car manufacturers rims also have the high/low spots marked and they match up the tires and...
Opening a BIG can of worms are you? lol
Both have the same HP and Torque. The only difference is the time it takes to hit those numbers when you hit the gas.
Do the pool noodle and take an hour or two and apply sound deadener on the back wall everywhere you can. I got 4 square feet applied on mine before I ran out of spots to stick it.
Total cost is under $20 and a few hours of your time.
Nope. I'll take the V8 with less torque any day of the week over a direct inject turbo.
I've had three different direct inject turbo's over the last 8 years and while they all had fun seat of the pants low rpm torque, they ALL exhibited a 'jerkiness' to them under normal driving/acceleration...
I think it would be nearly impossible to blow a speaker with the HK system unless that 'speaker' is the sub.
The overly bassy sub wont let you feed enough actual bass to the 6x9's to be able to blow them.
The limited is one of the few trucks that really has no height difference between the 4x2 and 4x4 model.
If you want 4x4 in a Limited, don't get a 4x2 because you think it's lower. It's not.
You can have an alignment done for $100 or less. Tell the tech what you're experiencing and that you want the front end geometry set up to take excess wear off the outer edges of the front tires.
