If I don't have some good news by August 1 then I will probably walk away. My truck is in JB for 4 days (not a big deal) but if it is just sitting there waiting for a Rambox redesign then it is probably outside exposed to the elements. If it sits for a few weeks in that condition, I don't want...
The window tint video actually addresses the interior cooling issue as well. Once again, be aware that a few words may be considered crude or offensive to some.

Interesting video on window tint that some may find very informative. Once in a while the man drops a word that may be crude or offensive to some, so consider this an advisory.

I am providing links to 2 videos on 1234yf. The first link is based on a Daimler Benz investigation and the second is a video by an Australian auto expert who uses an ocassional crude or offensive word so open at your own discretion. I found both to be very informative. The Aussie also posted a...
Saw a video on the 1234yf yesterday and apparently it is quite flamable as compared to the previous generation. They had to do special testing which showed that under the right conditions it could be hazardous. I am no genius on the matter but it may be of interest. I would post the link here...
You could always get the black one and get it sprayed to match the color of your truck. I will definitely consider doing that. A local body shop may be fairly inexpensive to sand and spray one piece of plastic or whatever material it is made of.
You would barely notice it but as some others have brought up, after a while (months or years) your paint would fade unevenly. If you ever had to remove the film, you would end up with a large part of your hood faded differently from the covered part. On a black vehicle that would be very...
I saw a white 2019 yesterday but it looked like a stripped version (very basic truck). All the other ones I have seen are on dealer lots. Makes me wonder if a huge percentage of those trucks manufactured this year are either still in Detroit, in transit, or on dealer lots. Very strange situation.
I showed it to my wife so she will never complain when I take my time putting 2 10,000 lbs straps on the back of our boat/trailer (boat is only 6,800 lbs), dual straps and a safety chain on the bow, and do a careful walkaround before ever towing our boat. It looks like the guy had some very...
On the order sheet please change the following:
No on off road
Yes on air suspension (All Limiteds have it, right?)
Yes on Pano roof
JB status as of 7/22
Thanks. I was not sure how to change it and did not want to screw it up.
After 4 and half days in I status I am now in JB status. Most trucks have recently gone through the inspection stage in 3 to 12 hours so I have some concerns about the length of time it took mine to get through. I'll have to go through it with a fine tooth comb when it shows up one of these days.
Quick question for those whose trucks have already been built and are waiting for delivery or are already in posession of their truck.
How long were you in I status, JS or JB status, and then KZ status?
I am in I status awaiting inspection for a few days now and just wondering if this is normal...
That's how I got my S550 in Germany at the factory. Drove around Europe for 2 weeks then gave it back to them to ship. Few weeks later I picked it up at my local dealership. That would be an awesome idea for Ram to copy.
