The rf hub does need to be programmed to the truck from what I’m told, you can’t just swap it out. After that you program the fobs. If we could just swap them out it would make it much simpler for those with the water intrusion issues.

Mine was short when I followed the factory harness exactly. When I pulled it back and went the most direct route it was spot on. I think an extra 6” would allow to follow the factory harness.

Looks like the replacement is a non heated mirror. I don’t think you can swap that over .

You need to turn it on on the radio under settings/mirror. Then to test, I covered the sensor on the center dash and the rear of the mirror and used a flashlight on the front of the mirror. It should turn a dark blueish color and if the side mirror(s) are equipped they will too

Thanks for that. Looks pretty simple. I’ve done a couple before. Not much difference in what I’ve done in the past. I already have the RC 3.5” so this might be a way to get the extra height without going for a full suspension lift.

Did you end up ordering the kit? Does it still come with the wrong bolts? I might be interested in doing this, but I’d like to see the install manual first. Can’t seem to find it online

Question about this. I did the swap from the 8.4” non nav in my 22 ram with a 12.1” out of a 23. I don’t have nav prompts in the cluster and I don’t see it as an option to turn on. Is that a setting I missed in Alfa or is it something I’m overlooking in the truck?

Nope just front and rear park sensors

I just did mine not long ago. I used 68312206AA for the mirror and 68298334AA for the rain sensor.

If you want to go 3” instead of 2.5, I have the one off my truck you can have free. I swapped to coilovers so I don’t need it anymore
