The ride seems pretty good to me. Much better than the stock setup with the Motofab spacers. I lowered the M1s by 1 notch. I have the v6 and it says on the website not for the v6. I called and was told it was due to weight and these will work, but will give an extra 1/2” lift, so to not go...
Swapped the mirror and added auto high beam. Removed front Motofab spacer and installed rough country M1 coilovers and rear M1 shocks. Had a ball joint on my mopar lifted UCAs failing so swapped with rough country UCAs. Truck drives so much better now. The bad ball joint was wobbling around so...
On the 5th gen ram the koadtech may not be an advantage because the secure gateway is so easy to access, but on other vehicles the gateway is more difficult to access then the can bus connectors so I can see the advantages of it on those vehicles for sure
Have you swapped the sensors left to right? If you do and it reads the opposite I’d say it’s the sensor, if not need to test wiring. Are all 4 wires in the proper pin locations under the seat? Are they seated properly? That 1 sensor looks like it was grinded down? Sure it’s functional?
To change the tire pressure thresholds, connect to the body computer, go into car configuration change, and find these two:
VehConfig 2: Max Load Inflation Pressure Rear
Tire (0-126PSI) - enter psi value
VehConfig 2: Max Load Inflation Pressure Front
Tire (0-126PSI) - enter psi value
Originally I had aftermarket glass that had blind spot and heated only. I bought from partsgeek.com. I wanted the auto dim feature back like I had prior to adding blind spot and found a set of oem used glass on eBay that had heat, blind spot and dimming on both sides
There are actually sensors that appear the same but are not. Mine had the humidity sensor and I swapped it for the rain/humidity sensor and made the 2 changes in Alfa and now have rain sense wipers. The new part was: 68298334AA
My presets have been good for a while now. But with the last update I’ve found that when using CarPlay it was returning to the homepage at random. Now after paying closer attention it’s not at random, it’s every time my headlights turn on or off. I drive to work early and noticed there are a few...
I finally did the rainsense wiper upgrade. Found a used sensor for cheap, 2 changes in Alfa and good to go. And it rained the day I did it so I got to try it out. Well worth it in my opinion. I also took a second go at putting my 35x12.50 spare in the stock location and succeeded! I took another...
I also have the Motofab 3/2 on my truck. While it does clear my 35s, I feel that I sacrificed ride quality to get there. I also did mopar upper control arms at the same time as the spacers just for peace of mind. Now I wish I had just done adjustable struts from the start, so that’s probably my...
Might just be me, but if I had issues like that that soon I’d be returning it. Too soon to spend that kind of money and have the lack of reliability for me
Mine doesn’t read the correct speed on the phone if the CarPlay is connected. The speedo reads according to how I programmed it, the phone reads the gps when not connected to the CarPlay, but for whatever reason if the phone connects to CarPlay the speedo works, but the Waze app shows the wrong...
Make sure when you check with the gps if you use your phone it’s not connected to the truck in anyway. If it is it will be almost right on to what the truck says. Once it’s not connected you can see the real difference
