Had my car stolen at college a few eons ago. Couldn't afford gas, never more than a gallon in it. Found it next day, 5mi away, out of gas. Probably not practical for family vehicle :)
Previous residence was in suburbia, nice little town but surrounded by not so nice bigger towns. Crews from...
The Bilstein's leveled my Rebel, within 1/4". On the 5th slot, they added about 1.8" over factory. Added the Mopar UCAs for expanded BJ travel, maintain factory appearance.
Congrats on surviving! My own encounter with the Widowmaker happened a little over 2yrs ago. Doing daily stationary bike/swimming exercises, noticed chest "tightness". Went to regular doc. EKG, BP, blood tests, xrays, no issues. Scheduled me for a cardio stress test. Night before stress...
Some of the 1500 DL reviews talk about bulging of the side panels, requiring pushpins or the like to fasten to the bed sidewall. Also, some issues with where the DL panels mate with the OE rails plastic. Did you experience any issues like these or otherwise?
Concur. DIY my first oil/filter change few weeks ago, used the Mopar filter (bought several from dieselfiltersonline.com) . ED with 33 tank, and 27+mpg freeway equals over 800mi range, roughly double that of any truck I've ever owned. Diesel in the People's Republik is not much more than...
Likewise, SOCAL dealers generally behave as if MSRP is a bargain. Even the Fleet/internet reps often won't budge from MSRP. I can only conclude that SOCAL car buyers generally accept the MSRP BS.
I believe sales tax is charged for the state a vehicle is registered. When I picked up my truck at Bud Clary in Auburn WA, they gave me a temporary registration so I could drive it home and didn't charge sales tax. I paid the tax when I registered the truck in socal. If an out of state dealer...
Interesting. I must have called 20 socal dealers when shopping last year. T Click was one of them, but don't think it was Rob. Anyway, like virtually every other socal dealer, Click was acting like MSRP was a great deal. Ordered with Bud Clary Auburn WA, 6.3% below invoice before incentives.
Went down similar road. Was planning to sell a 2014 1794 (nice truck with horrible mpg), awaiting the nexgen Tundra. Then the early spy shots of the 2022 megagrille Tundra appeared, made even uglier (if that's possible) by the chrome surround option. Perhaps pre-production efforts to disguise...
Bought a 2014 Tundra 1794 new because I loved the special 1794 leather interior and the mica bronze exterior. After dechroming and adding a Platinum grille, this is what it looked like. I bought it at MSRP. There were only 2 1794s in mica bronze in California at the time, so the dealer was...
No maybe about it, fly-inspect-drive is the ticket, especially with the degree of repair work. I see you're in Oregon, too bad Bud Clary is no longer a factory order discount option for west coasters.
Nice rig, but then I'm a little partial ;)
Also did fly-drive, from SOCAL to Bud Clary Auburn WA. With the ED, averaged over 28mpg, one gas stop in 1200 miles. Coming from a 14mpg (downhill with the wind) Tundra, that felt pretty good. Unfortunately Clary is apparently now out of the...
When I installed the Bilstein 5100s with the mopar UCAs, used a 5lb sledge with pickle. Like yours, wouldn't budge. Tried heat, still wouldn't budge. Last resort, modified the separator tool by removing the portion of the arm below the red line and widened the opening to gain more purchase...
