Also just having somewhere to put things where they can't be seen really helps with theft. I had a friend whose truck along with several others got broken into at a motel one night. The guy next to him had a hard tonneau cover. The thieves broke into the cabs of trucks and stole everything of...
I had them on my 14 with 6' 4" bed and now on my 20 with 5'7" bed. I liked having the longer bed and the longer Ram Boxes but I got tired of waiting for them to come out with the long bed. My shotguns still fit, even my clays gun with lengthened stock and 30" barrels, so I'm happy enough and...
I'm really liking my Truxedo Sentry CT. It is hard roll-up and is aluminum bonded to a convertible top type fabric. I didn't want anything that would show dents or scratches or get really hot to the touch in summer. I also wanted to be able to lay a shotgun on it without worrying about...
My Pandora always wants to create a station that isn't based on the artist I am listening to. I thought it was because I was listening to a buffered song and it was using the artist on the upcoming song but that doesn't seem to be the case either.
AMP research also makes one but it isn't much cheaper than the MOPAR one. https://www.amp-research.com/amp-research-75322-01a-bedstep-rear-bumper-access
My truck updated last night. Only different I have noticed so far is with the Favorite Icons for SXM when you hit the favorites star. The Icons seem bigger. It reordered them all also, put them in order by channel number instead of how I had them.
I realize that theses trucks when loaded out with all of the options can get expensive but it is silly to me to keep comparing them to "premium" products and other high end cars. The fact that it is a 4 wheel drive, v-8, crew cab, full size pickup eats up most of that cost. You really aren't...
Also with the barn door open it is really easy to use the cut out in the rear bumper as a step to get in and out. There really isn't any need for the mythical center mount rear step. I do want the offset one that you can get for the regular tailgate though so I can get in the truck easily with...
OK, so putting into flood clear mode. I was thinking he meant just pressing the gas and then letting do before starting the engine. I don't pre spin it but I can see the thought process.
How does this work on our engines. If the truck is not running how does stepping on the gas do anything to the oil? Not disagreeing, just trying to understand.
I tried to get my dealer to just install the corner step instead of the rear center step on my truck with MFT and BUG since the center step is not available anyway. Also, to me the corner step makes more sense. With the MFT open barn door style you can step on the cut out in the bumper to get...
No real issues with mine. Had to has the computer reset so that the Uconnect app would work and the TSB for the auto dim headlights. Only other issue I have had is that sometimes peoples faces don’t show up on the phone book but usually come back after a restart.
Yeah, I've had the same problem. Also, If you are on the phone through CarPlay and click anything or get an announcement from the nav system, they blast at at full volume also.
