I had to take my truck in for a recall and tire balance....while there they said it needed an update. Only thing I see different is the eq version. But it still sounds the same.
So i've been thinking on this and need some input cause I really don't know where to do this. All I have is my S20+ not a GoPro. And if I do a video where do I upload it to, Youtube? If I know where to go with it, I can do an outside and driving video for those that want. Thanks for the help
So, I did what a few other members have done to clean up the bass some without dropping in a who new setup...stuffed the sub box with polyfill from a pillow. I tend to listen to bass heavy music anyways (Hick Hop for those that may know), and I can attest the sound is much better. As another...
Tough call TBH. The borla setup was quieter, but not by much. Probably cause of the resonators still on. But it gave a great sound. The MBRP on the other hand gives a great sound as well. This system is a louder at start up and acceleration which does yield a nice smile or smirk in doing...
Only problem I see after reading all these posts is every size gives a certain degree off the odometer and speedometer with the 285/55 being the worse of the bunch....at about 4-5 off on the speedometer. I like the tire size but I'd need a programmer for the adjustment....
33x12.5 is off 1-2 is...
Aftermarket solutions being and hi end input signal processor and amp to run the sub independently? The sub can be so much better with a proper tune. Not sure audio control makes a line input, processor, and eq all in one to handle that job
Maybe. But since I've owned 3 DT trucks all with the HK system, I can tell you one thing has remained constant and its the bass frequencies being poorly set. I have my bass set at -6 with the highs around +3. The bass in this system is terrible and poorly adjusted. Wrong frequencies are...
Man I love that truck, plan to do mine too. Questions: WHat tonneau is that and two, how did you swap the mirror caps without breaking the glass? Last time I did it with my '19 white ram I ended up breaking one. Is there a trick besides just pulling?
No I haven't towed and no drone. Sounds good. Interesting enough, I just traded my '19 for a '20 and was going to go the same route but decided at the last minute to try a MBRP catback. And I love it. Sounds amazing. Little louder than my borla muffler setup but quiet at cruise and no...
@ny2az I went outside and took a look at everything the other day. I'm curious to what steps you took to get to the sub. I did the handle release thing on the seat, but it appears I may have to do both seats like that and pull all the covered liner out to access it. If that's the case, how...
