Even if you have the eliminator, you still have to start the vehicle to make it work. So still have to push a button for that one too. The real point is that automation does not need to be justified in order to feel useful to the user.

It’s just a matter of convenience in that you won’t forget to press and you won’t have to ever think about it again. I don’t have one on my Ram, but I had one on my Jeep.

I guess I just done like how it shifts in T/H mode then. I also have a 3.92 axle.
Putting it into S mode doesn’t seem to change any dynamic other than no stop start and no MDS.

Yes, but it also disables 8th gear and requires you to reach for and push a button. The shifter is already in your hand.

One of the benefits of swapping to the TRX shifter is what happens when I shift over to S mode. Just sliding the shifter left disables auto stop and MDS.

On my 2021 Dually, I converted from Halogen to LED. The OEM fog lights are reverse polarity from the halogen and require re-pinning the wires on each side. This may not matter with aftermarket lights that are not polarity sensitive. Also may not be the same for the 1500 as the 3500. Just wanted...
I am guessing that the bottoms light is signature lighting and that the Tazer is turning them off. Look for the signature lighting circuit. I don’t have a limited to test on. Does the bottom light come on with the headlights?
