Update... so I just removed my UCA using a puller from Amazon. The UCA has no adjustments and it’s just a direct bolt on. Easy. Took like 30 mins to do. Dealer/ other shops quoted me 500 bucks to change it and that’s without a wheel alignment. Lol. So now prob re order the Motofab spacers...
I ordered a used UCA from ebay, costed 34 bucks. So hopefully later I can change it out and mark the bolts or whatever so I dont need to get a alignment. See how this goes....
I have Flow Masters Super 44 installed and just got the resonators removed. It sounds sooooooo much better and yes louder too. The drone isnt bad at all. I left the resonators on when I first got the exhaust installed and the resonators had this "slapping/flapping/clapping" type of sound. It...
Yup same here, boot all sorts of screwed up. I ordered a new upper control arm and debating on just it leave it alone. Still having been able to pop the UCA from the knuckle, prob try to use a puller.
Yeah exactly, the sluggish feel between I think gear 3 or 4 is "gone" with the stock box. I just sent the CAI back to Summit Racing. Hope they just refund it. They refunded my throttle Body from my Jeep SRT when I returned it.
Around 150 miles or so.
I just reinstalled the stock box w/the K&N drop in filter and yeah the sluggish feel felt like it was gone. I did the same drive route with the AFE and without and between 20-35 mph with the AFE felt like a slight hesitation. Not don’t hate on me but the hesitation with...
I got mine. And I feel the sluggish feel. The sound can’t really hear it because of my exhaust. I may go back to stock. I have a drop in K&N filter with the stock box and probably go back to it. Hopefully summit racing accepts open box returns.
Yes on all your questions. I smacked the hell out of it. Looks like it bent the knuckle. Haven’t tried heat yet but don’t have a torch. I have a heat gun may work.
I was thinking about getting two forks since I already screwed up the boot. But amazon has the puller for 50 bucks with other tools. Do you still need a wheel aligment if you just change out the stock UCA with a new Stock upper UCA without a leveling kit?
I did. But you get an email with a $50 code. I believe it was instantly emailed to me. I watched the sales person do it. Make sure you check your junk email or unwanted email. I test drove one and actually bought the truck. So definitely qualified.
So what a headache and had to quit. I have a Laramie with the ORG and going to install the Motofab 2.5” spacer. Everything going good until trying to break loose the upper control arm and the knuckle. Let’s say it didnt turn out that good and wasnt able to get it done. I try hammering the...
Watch out that your arms don’t hit your frame anti damper thingy. If it does there is a bolt to loosen and you can swing the damper upwards out of the way from the swings arms.
You can take it any way you want too. If it sounds harsh to you then oh well. It wasn’t suppose to be. But out of everyone here no one wanted to help. Just a simple picture of the sticker on the shock with the part number. Think about how you’ll feel when asking in a forum and no one would...
