That's good to know. Honestly just looking for something a bit more then the stock exhaust and it seems like the B2 would do just that. I just don't want to regret it if it gets to be too much after longer drives/commutes.
Yeah, I
Idk...the “made to order” comment doesn’t seem right. Let me know if you decide to cancel. Found a place that actually gave a slightly better price then tonneaucovered and I got it in a few days.
Did you reach out the RO? I wonder if you were sent the brackets prior to the design change for the ‘21s? Had no problem with my set lining up with the bed holes.
Looks good! Were you having problems with the tailgate closing if you didn’t cut the end with the drain hole? I ended up leaving if as is and the tailgate closes with no problem.
The end that is closest to the cab is not because of the drain hole that's in place. The tailgate end might be but I didn't try as it doesn't effect how it opens or closes.
To note, I didn't cut mine all the way to the top but did cut enough for the MX4 railing to sit on top of the RO brackets. I will say because of the RO brackets, the railing does stick out of the bed frame a bit since you can't have it sit fully flush with the cabin bed wall but the tailgate...
Agreed. Under 1k miles and already have a few chips in the bumper. Xpel goes on this weekend.
Problem is with a painted metal bumper there is no forgiveness or bounce back when debris hits like it would if it was a painted plastic bumper.
If you cut enough that the rail sits around the bracket you will be fine. The RO bracket holes match up to all the screws you take off the factory bracket so you won’t need to drill anything. If you are talking about the two screws that hold the back flap to the railings, those will line up as...
I did pretty much the same. Cut about an inch up and 10 inches long off the rail so it would fit basically around the RO bracket. Once the screws are in, didn’t have any problems with them interfering with the rail or cover. I’m not sure what screws toy are referring to that hold the cover to...
Even if you made the holes bigger, trying to sandwich the rail behind the bracket won’t work. Cutting a piece of the rail to allow it to sit on top of the RO bracket works and doesn’t effect how the cover sits in the railing at all.
