Guys read this... this might make you scratch your head or chuckle... "over 1000 hours of tuning" RAM says.. :)

I have been researching tonneau covers that can accomodate bed racks (crossbars across the bed). Here are two that I found (both don't support rambox vehicles, only w/o rambox)
1. American Roll Covers
2. Retrax XR Series..
Both come with and/or accomodate Yakima and maybe Thule rack setup...
So what I ended up doing for the time being , to still take advantage of the promo on the XR covers...
1. Ordered the XR cover now w/o rambox
2. Purchase the MX cover (supposedly ships end of oct)
and will swap out the MX cannister with the XR rails to get the cross bar functinality I am...
Actually I wonder if they don't plan to support rambox models. Would sort of make sense since you dint want the cross bars interfering with the rambox lids?
Just saw this promo on the Retrax XR series covers! MIght affect your buying decision, it expires on 9/30 which is midnight tonight. Unfortunately the Retrax XR is not available for Rambox models.
Congrats on making a decision! I am still up in the air but would be helpful if you can install and report with pictures/videos whatever you can supply :)
I saw a video somewhere showing a customer's Bak Revolver getting easily broken into, somehow the thief popped the latch on the back with a...
Is it just the Sentry CT and not the regular Sentry? Is that why they have that material on the CT? I can't figure out the pros and cons of the CT vs non CT.
Thanks YoAdrian for starting this thread. I live in the northeast as well, and I was worried when I came across the revolver videos showing it sucked in cold weather.
I was also checking out the sentry, mostly because I like how the aluminum slats are blacked out. Maybe they might be better in...
Thanks for checking YoAdrian. I think it's odd that they don't stop the mirror further away from the glass. I have the jeep and it stops maybe half an inch away from glass, you would think with it being the same company they would do the same with the RAM... dunno. oh well as long as it isn't...
Well I definitely wouldn't be in a lower credit rating bucket - I have excellent credit score. But the padding might be something I can negotiate with the dealer.
I went on Rams website and calculate my lease payments. They were lower then what my dealer told me by about $80/month on a 36 month lease. That comes out to about 3k more over the entire lease extra. Shouldn't the dealers numbers match with the ram website? I double checked all the numbers too...
I did see a couple that were caught in I or something.
Yeah agree though that you rarely catch them in the middle of the build so that's probably why it goes from D1 to KZ
Yeah, to be honest the forum makes it worse too . Not really this forum's fault, just doing anything that makes me think about the truck makes things go by slowly haha. Oh well!
