I wish Ram would of put a sport mode button in these trucks. While the 8 speed is quick to know what you are trying to accomplish, the sport mode really makes a difference.
Driving even a trackhawk between regular and sport mode it makes the truck feel much peppier off the line/accelerating.
My 19 gets that as well.
Think OP is the second poster recently who has gotten poor mileage doing quite a bit of highway with an etorque engine. Probably just coincidence.
How more room did you have underneath there? 34 snug?
Yea, definitely want to replace the spare tire too cause you don't want to be driving with two different tire sizes.
Maybe it's my ears, but the HK in the Jeep sounds close to the Alpine in the 19 Ram up to 15/16 volume.
I notice better quality sound/bass when you hit 18+ in the HK.
But then it's quite loud depending on the song.
Weld a louder muffler on and keep the stock one?
Then just have a muffler shop put the stocker back on?
You could buy a full catback but that's on the $600+ range for a truck you will only keep 3 years, and you'll need to store the stock muffler/piping somewhere.
Probably the interior space and the bump in MPG is nice over the last truck. Last truck was a Supercab F-150 with the "suicide" doors. PITA getting the kid in and out in parking lots. Loved the truck as a toy, but not really practical.
Not that I care too much about MPG, but 12 vs 19 is a nice...
Just curious as I think the premium/platnium are thicker in coating, or at least that's what they told me.
Maybe the thickness had something to do with them popping out?
I have a standard line-x and haven't had any issues with the covers popping out. Just a wild guess.
Better UV protection...
Coming from the Ford world of trucks, I wish I knew a good comparison for the Carven exhaust.
Is the progressive close to the Roush exhaust in terms of loudness? (5.0/6.2 engines)
While I want some noise, the garage is right next to the baby room, and I don't want to get **** over my truck...
Mine with the 3.21 is picky at times for the eco, but with now 4k miles on it, the eco will turn on within a few minutes of crankup.
I don't notice much gas saving on the hwy with eco, and usually I just end up turning it off.
Hmm, just Sentry.
Install was straight forward. First tonneau I ever installed and it took 45 minutes by myself.
Operation is easy too. Rolls pretty easy. The velcro type material may need a gentle pat down to make sure it's secure with the bed rails if you open it up all the way.
So far no...
