I shop between DiscountTireDirect, tirebuyer and tirecrawler.
Some don't carry certain brands and/or one may have a in house promotion that the other don't.
Very good tires.
Have a buddy with 35's on 17's(different truck) and he raves about how good they are on wet roads and offroad.
He works at a tire place so he goes through many tires a year but has stuck with those for a while now.
Looks like a BigHorn to me in that pic anyways.
I agree with @GATORB8.
What's your daily drive like? Stop and go with redlights every half mile? 55-60 mph long stretches of road? Hwy?
They definitely will hurt the MPG rating.
Definitely agree with the -3 off the ratings from Ram. Could be...
@Cannonball dead giveaway you live in Florida for mentioning Publix lol.
I'm stuck between the Touring and S for Borla and then Magnaflow unless they are already back-ordered till 2020.
Oh I will. Told me they will give me a discount too(since we've done consulting work there) but that was the standard pricing there anyways.
I've been on the fence about buying the rear end gears(4th gen) from Moes, but they haven't responded to my PM's(month old by now) nor my question on...
Bumping this thread after talking to the dealership.
~1,200 for parts
8 hours or 1,200 for labor.
Talking about $2,400 to swap rear end gear at a dealership.
The adviser didn't know if the gears themselves were a carry over from the 4th gens(2011+).
Going to hold off from doing it a dealer...
I believe I've gotten close to 21-22 gallons but I can't recall how low the miles to empty reader was at.
I know I've never gone below 20-30 miles to empty.
For me, the hood ones were a breeze. Start in the lower corner near the front of the truck and pull out. Quick and easy.
The tailgate I crushed the old one to get it out faster cause mosquitos were showing up lol.
Just heated it up with a heat gun and used pliers on the ram head. Came off with...
At 7,200+ miles now.
Only issue I seem to have is a bluetooth issue for the person hearing me on the phone. Randomly will occur. After an update fwiw. Still too lazy to bring it in.
Outside of that, smooth sailing.
Explicit channel as in a talk show or music?
I've left mine on stations that throw some f bombs around but it has never reverted back to the preview channel.
Wonder if the truck is set to some dealer mode or it's the siriusxm radio itself that's messing up.
I used to get the preview channel...
Here's a 275/60R20 tire
Only a inch taller, but to me, looks much better. And no more OWL. Thought about going wider, but didn't see it as worth it to spend $300+ more for another 20mm. And i n the 285/295 sizes there are a lot of 60+ LB E rated tires.
I didn't buy mine for MPG either, but coming from the 11-13(highway) MPG world of trucks it was an added bonus, for now. Not so much cause of $, but I hated stopping constantly for gas on trips.
If the TR/TRX are priced stupidly, I may just put some forced induction on it and call it a day.
