Gotcha, I keep my vehicles for at least 10 years unless something really bad happens. Yeah I wasn't impressed with the EcoDiesel for my needs. If anything I'd upgrade to a 2500 for more towing capabilities.

Find another dealer then. I went through a couple dealerships before I found some that new about it. I actually found out before 5thGen from one dealer I'd been speaking with. When I started shopping around is when I started having issues like yours.

My dealership included a lifetime powertrain warranty! They were only about $1k more then everyone else so I thought it was well worth it. I'm not sure who the warranty is through though, but it isn't specific to just their dealership. Not sure where you are located otherwise I'd recommend...

I understood you but wasn't sure as almost not information is out on the limited black. Those pictures I found were the only real marketing I'd seen. My dealerships didn't have those pictures your dealer showed you.

So my truck is on a train now and I was looking over yours and the marketing pictures. The RAM website shows it with black trim! I wonder if they didn't have it yet or what. If you look closely at the doors you can see black RAM and black limited trim down the side.

So those parents aren't available as they haven't been released yet. The black limited are barely making it on the lots now. I was wanting the all black look on the truck but limited trim. Thankfully they came out with it for 2020 instead of me building up a laramie. It was almost the same cost...

There is only a night package for the Laramie in 2020. All you have to do it select black paint and TADA you have the black appearance group. Everything else is the same in comparison.

They look good! Did they give you much back on the original set of tires? I've never done a switch on tires brand new. Now what to do with the horrible license plate in the front?

I ordered mine last week and we shall see how long before I get it. Did you pick up your truck yet? What day was it delievered? I'm trying to figure out a timeline for my truck order. You got to show us some pictures. Another post found this at a dealership already...

That's a really easy fix though.

OH it's black chrome for the grill. Take a look at the pictures I posted and you can see it's black and not chrome. I can't speak for the night packages, but they may be a matte finish instead of the limited's chrome black.

I'd love to see pictures of the shroud unmodified with your install. If you haven't modified the shroud already.

This was true for the 2019 version. They wanted to separate the limited from the laramie. The rims on the black appearance are the exclusive limited rims in all black. Check my post or DrAudio for real pictures. Hell check the real website. https://www.ramtrucks.com/2020/ram-1500.html

Well your dealer was better then all the ones in Houston as no one could tell me what the hell it looked like! They did just post these pictures on Ram website last night. Now I'm curious what step they will put on it with the bed utility group since I also ordered the Multifunction tailgate. So...

I was hoping the same thing actually! If you are patient they are making a black limited truck for 2020. You could just order the parts OEM and switch them all out.
