What are you towing?
In an RV forum a member commented that he unbolted the jack from the A-frame, relocated the jack using 1 bolt hole & drilled and tapped 2 new holes... Personally if I were to do something like that I would use a through bolt, lockwasher, nyloc nut & loctite... -

The reason I asked is I have heard it has been done by unbolting the jack at the A-frame... Thanks! -

@Gren71... Did you turn just the jack head? (drill & tap new holes at the top of the jack assembly) Or did you turn the entire jack? (unbolt from A-frame, drill & tap new holes in A-frame) -
