    275/70R18 BFG KO2 or 295/70R18 Falken Wildpeak A/T3W

I’m pretty sure I saw his truck last weekend and it did look fantastic! Everyone has a different goal in mind for their vehicle. The difference between the 295/70 and 285/70 is essentially a difference of a quarter inch in height and width. Although a 36 pound difference in unsprung...

A/T that can also handle snow???

Not all severe snow rated tires are created equal… Everyone keep that in mind. Case in point I had 275/60/20 Falken Wildpeak At3w And they stuck like glue in the snow. I switched from 20 inch wheels to 17s and installed Hancook Dynapro ATM which are also severe snow rated. The very next snow I...

    275/70R18 BFG KO2 or 295/70R18 Falken Wildpeak A/T3W

@Gozar did I bump into you at Costco the other day when I topped off my wife’s Mini?

    275/70R18 BFG KO2 or 295/70R18 Falken Wildpeak A/T3W

My friend I have a solution! Nitto Ridge grappler 285/70/18 33.98” x 11.5”. 60 pounds And yes the wildpeaks are an excellent tire with the only downside being that they are heavy. Now on a sidenote… You can get the Falken wildpeak in a 275/70/18 and it measures 33.4 X 11. Off the top of...

    Michelin vs goodyear

Looks good! Make sure you have the truck re-calibrated for the 33 inch tires if you have not already. The Michelin’s really are king of the highway tires

    First oil change, dealer pricing.

Without supplying product doing and oil change tire rotation and fuel filter service should be between $400 and $500. There’s nothing economical about an eco-diesel. True we don’t spend as much on fuel compared to a hemi but we payout in other areas....

    Looking at ProComp Xtreme MT2s...

Toyo AT3s are pretty light but those just came out a couple months ago… Did you mean the Falken AT3w? Those are heavy but they are wonderful. Had a set of 285/70/17 on my last ram (also 275/60/20 before the lift) and they were perfect on every road surface and condition except Sloppy mud. And...

    Looking at ProComp Xtreme MT2s...

That’s just what it is. Every tire manufacture size varies just slightly. 18 inch wheel sizes are kind of the red headed step child. Most off roaders want 17 inch wheels and people that are into Looks want 20s or 22s. More sizes are coming available for 18 inch wheels all the time. And a...

A/T that can also handle snow???

Toyo AT3 just came out a couple months ago… You cannot compare online reviews of the old open country AT2. Keep that in mind. The new Toyo AT3 is severe snow rated the old tire was not. The Yokohama‘s do great in the snow but my absolute favorite is the Falken AT3w. I have lots of mountains...

    Pandora streaming

I was having all sorts of issues with Pandora and other apps. My phone charges with a USB-C port. Even though I have an android phone I bought the Apple USB-C to USB-C cable at Walmart and it’s been smooth sailing ever since plugged into the USB-C port 1 on the truck. Flawless ever since.

    First oil change, dealer pricing.

You may want to research hemi camshaft and lifter failure and exhaust manifold failure... Hemi’s aren’t bulletproof. But they sure sound good! Just hit 7,000 on the eco diesel yesterday

    Firestone MT2

Mud tires naturally will have a fair amount of noise. Some of the quietest MTs are Milestar Patagonia MT, Maxxis RAZR, BFG KM3, Mickey Thompson Baja MTZP3 and Yokohama G003. Especially if you’re looking at 37‘s tire weight is a huge issue… Truly look at the Patagonia‘s. They’re very...

2" Level and rear spring choices?

When the rear suspension is raised it will shift how your swaybar sits and the angle it will be at does not do a good job of “activating“ proper usage of the bar. By having longer sway bar links It will allow the swaybar geometry to be normal. If you do a lot of heavy towing the thicker sway...

    Firestone MT2

They’re relatively light weight for their class and one of the guys on TFL if you’re familiar with that YouTube series says it’s his favorite mud terrain

2" Level and rear spring choices?

Hopefully you’ll get them sooner rather than later… Either way when you do post pictures! Another thing to think about is the sway bar links. I used hellwig universal sway bar links on the last truck. I’m wondering if the off-road package swaybar links are longer than the standard links. I...

Cheap set of all terrain tires for winter.

Falken AT3w. End of story. I have a lot of snow ice mountain road driving experience with these tires and they stick like glue. They’re not very expensive. I’ve had true dedicated winter tires and other severe snow rated all-terrain‘s. The Falkens are a ten in the snow for an AT

    285/70r18 in Factory Spare Location?

.78 doesn’t sound like much when you draw it on a piece of paper but when we’re talking about rotating with revolutions per mile it is a substantial difference. The largest 275 would be a Falken AT3W at 33.4 or the Maxxis Razr MT at 33.5. I also want to go to the 285 route with ridge...
