I have my 1500 Big Horn serviced at Bob Mariano in Concord. Been very pleased with the work and price. Ive had four service appointments and have had them install skid plates, trailer brake and several other items. Work done quickly and right the first time.
I went with an American trifold cover. Really not pleased. After a year all four corners are curling up. Looking at the OEM hard color coorinated bed cover now.
Actually the front ones are held in by friction, no tape. The rear had a strip of tape and little hooks with screws. I did mine a year ago on my 2019 Big Horn and they may have changed the installation on later models.
I believe that if you check some references the Northeast contains CN, RI, MASS, NH, VT and Maine. New York and Penn are not considered in the NE. Just my .02 worth. And hi from central NH.
I went with the AVS bug shield as the OEM had some bad write ups with some of the holes not lining up etc. I did however put the OEM vent visors on. The front ones went on flawlessly, the rear ones however were a pain in the butt with the clip and little screws. Took me 3 times the time to do...
The market is full of add on air bags for towing. The last time I looked $88.00 plus labor would do it for a median priced air bag kit. The ones I saw were very easy to install. Compress bag, slip it into the two rear springs and run your air lines.
go with the ram 1500. I have a 2019 comimg up on 1 year of ownership, 28000 miles so far with the 5.7 and 8 speed tranny. Not a lick of problems and getting roughly 18 mpg, thats when i keep my foot out of the throttle.
ive had the same problem but minus the spill, dealer says all is well, have 27000 on my 11 month old 1500. Hope if a problem presents itself it does it while under warranty.
dealer should have flashed the computer after the install. on your screen go into settings and scroll down you should see trailer brakes and go from there.
