Those are swapped out. Might as well change the high beams too, easier to do than the main lights as well.

Waze just annoyed the heck out of me. I couldn't turn off the railroad warning ahead notifications off. Kept interrupting my music. LOL

I haven's ever seen the ads on my display when using Google maps. Maybe because I am on uconnect 4 on the 8.4 inch screen? Google maps has been my go to, got tired of waze pretty quick. I decided not to update the factory navigation because it won't be nearly as accurate as the phone based apps.

I don't know if this will work, but place the key fob on the start button and push it in to try starting it when you press the brake. It may need to read the RFID chip in the remote. Just a thought.

I did some surgery, a few scrapes, 1 broken razor blade but I got the RFID chip out. My wife didn't believe it would start my truck. I left my keys in the house, went outside with the chip and pressed it and viola! Ty for posting this thread!

I just went outside with the old key fob that I took the guts out of and it started my truck. Thank you for the heads up. I guess I will be doing some surgery later on.

I swapped the halogen bulbs for Lasfit bulbs, it took a little time, not too hard. I followed their directions from youtube on how to change the Low beams, fog lights and high beams. Hardest part was getting the low beams in, one arm through the fender well and the other arm in from the top...

You need to get a the plastic tool that can pry it down with out breaking it. I did it about a year or so ago. Plastic trim pry tool. Take your time and work the corners I believe. There is a video on you tube I watched and if I can find it I will post it. Here is one from LASFIT
