Go visit and walk into the service bays before checking in with the Service Advisors...would be interesting to see how their story compares to reality (they broke something and are waiting for a part to fix it...)
I’d be interested in doing this, too, but would need the plastic to come down vertically below the bottom of the insulation, just like the original faux vent cover’s drain.
Thx! Does look similar!
For us, 1000# includes:

Echo the sentiments about being aware of tire loading, but:
- the stock tires load rating is more than sufficient for the truck’s rated capacity. Quality or performance would be the reason to upgrade. OEM trailer tires are often low quality, that would be the first place I’d upgrade.
- buy...
Outlined White Letters.
Suggest you take delivery as is, with the dealer touching the truck as little as possible. Make sure you have no problems, vibrations, etc, that they could blame on dismounting/ remounting/ balancing tires.
If you don’t like the look, then change it.
if you don’t have...
Go for it. See if you like it. Down the road, check wear at the center vs at the outside edges.
i run the OEM 275/55/20 Bridgestones and my 275/60/20 Rotiiva AT Plus (E load snow/All Terrain) at 35 normally and 40 when towing.
No calibration. But, it does re-read the trailer length the first time you make a significant turn after start or selecting a trailer. Since the truck doesn’t really know the angle the trailer is at, it will come out differently depending on the turn, etc.
My TT is 29’ +\~ and comes up 30’...
Funny, I agree that refinancing after 6 months into the same term loan is not advantageous unless there’s a big enough interest rate reduction.
But, if you refi before the first payment is due, just about any reduction in interest rate will result in less total interest paid.
Yes, if you refi...
I’m with you up to the “front-loaded” interest rate. This loan’s interest is calculated daily, on the principal balance that day, so there is no front loading. The sooner you refinance, the sooner you start paying less interest.
I agree with the posts, that if the dealer was honest, I would...
I have not seen a loan that really had a 3 payment requirement. Extremely likely that their spiff is earned after the third payment. Given rates available today, refi ASAP (or sooner) - they don’t deserve their commission. There was nothing wrong with your SSN...
i financed to get the...
2020 1500 DT Crew short bed:
9’ wide door (107” moulding to moulding). Don’t fold the mirrors in but have to watch.
8’ high door (no issues)
21’ long garage (252” wall to door) fits fine. I pull in until the park sensors just go red. If I let the front bumper touch the pipe insulation...
Other than looks, how are these better brakes? Slots and holes help fade (heat dissipation) and water dispersion but actually slightly reduce dry stopping power (until heat becomes a factor from repeated application).
I want the truck to stop in shorter distance when braking from highway...
In every gear? Since new?
ANC a good thought. There were some defective tuned mass modules, some loose intake resonator pipes, a couple bad driveshaft joints, but thought they sorted those out. But no, haven’t heard that on my ‘20 5.7 4x4
