Pretty sad we had to do this, when you sell it you have to tell the person " when it gets hot (or cold) you have to get out of truck - open hood...................." ---- why it's my first and VERY LAST ram.
Wonder if the Model T had a similar set up ?
Had mine replaced, like many parts on this truck it made no difference . I stick my head out the window and take a guess it's more accurate that what the dash displays.
I'll bet I'm not one of the 38. This company is sweeping this issue under the rug. I am on my third window. Yes it's fixed for now but I had allot of down time, had to rent a car, etc, etc. I sued Ram and got a settlement over the leak and and some other issues. I decided to keep the truck as I...
Nothing took it to the dealer and then took it back after 3000 miles they said it’s within specs burning a quart every 3 to 4 thousand getting rid of it as soon as truck prices come down no more Ram
never got the mod thing - throw more money into a money pit (any vehicle) that you will never ever get back . Reduce gas mileage, increase wear and tear, makes no sense at all. - donate it to a dog shelter as least it will do some good
I am on my third slider, the original and first replacement both cracked and leaked . The service rep told me that my current window is only guaranteed until 2 years from the FIRST replacement which was done in January 2022. Can anyone with experience tell me if this is true because if it is I...
I'm laughing because these "trucks" are a joke, not sure if I am replacing it soon, may wait till prices come down, but definitely before the drive train warranty expires. No way chancing it as it burning oil - 36,000 miles !
I have had 3 chips repaired so far. Now I have a BIG crack on passenger side. Some idiot was in a hurry on a cold day replacing wipers and arm slipped out of his hand and WACK --new windshield required. Figured I'll wait until next chip or crack as it will pass inspection.
PS: idiot was this...
The sad part is that we are even talking about doing this (A/C clamping) on a $ 60,000 plus truck to get cold air - pathetic. I can see me telling the person I sell the truck to "o yeah if you want cold air you have to open the hood and turn this valve....." , I'll probaly just do a "we buy...
Welcome to "LIFE WITH A RAM" , if the window/antenna/brake light isn't leaking, or you don't have wind noise, or some other issue you will not have cold air when you turn on the AC.
