I Have been having this same ANNOYING issue since i got my ram, (2019 rebel ftr w/ 5" uconnect) i use Bluetooth exclusively because trhats the only way it will work, but i would absolutely LOVE to get it working through usb like its supposed to work. drives me freaking nuts.

I painted my rebel upper grille trim the same color as my truck- billet silver metallic. It came out good u til I used a cheap cleArcoT and made the paint underneath wrinkle. But it isn’t noticBle from pics, only up close. Eventually I’ll re paint it but for now I am broke.

I went in intended on removing mine, but I realized pretty quick it is WAY easier to just tape it off.

I plasti dipped mine just to get a feel for it, and I like it a lot. Also I think it makes a big difference adding an accent color on the hooks and outer grill letter edges.

Mine is plasti dipped also, I went a little further and painted the hooks and outer edge of the grill letters a deep red. I’m thinking about blacking the front of the Ram letters, and keeping the red outline. Opinions welcome.

I agree with you, but the ANC does a lot to eliminate tire noise. I have the rebel with stock wranglers, that’s the only thing I noticed hearing That I didn’t hear before bypassing the ANC. I replaced all 4 6x9’s with JBL’s, new speaker wire to each. added a JBL amp to power them, with a PAC...
