I think the Wildpeaks in 22 only come in 285/45R22, I also think 22s look ridiculous on a truck but to each their own.
Added: the Coopers only come in 275/45R22 or 285/45R22 as well. You CAN get the 305 or 33" in the Nitto Recon or Ridge Grapplers though.
Interesting, Im coming from the PW/Wrangler world so 17" rims and those Nittos are 65PSI max 10ply, didn't realize the 18"s were 80PSI 12ply. I guess that could make it a stiffer sidewall than the 17"s. You could try the RGs in LT325/65R18 E 10ply, in the real world the tire size is almost...
If you want the snowflake, take a look at the Falken Wildpeak AT3/Ws, they're 3peak rated. I recently put those on my Jeep 392 to get rid of the garbage stock KO2s because at the time RGs were out of stock everywhere in 35x12.50r17. They are an aggressive AT tire but I've put a lot of highway...
You've posted a couple of threads on this, what's your PSI set at? The "chalk test" is really the only way to be sure but I'd recommend somewhere between 36-42 to start with. You don't need to run 65PSI in those RGs just because it's the max PSI on the sidewall and the door jam PSI number on...
Take a look at the Nitto Recon Grapplers, they're a newer AT tire with the looks of the Ridge Grappler but designed to be more of a road tire vs the hybrid RidgeG. The Terra Grappler is also another decent option.
Well RGs are definitely not meant to run for 63k+ miles, they don't even have a tread life guarantee. I'm very impressed that they look as good as they do in the pics above at that mileage. Everyone I know who has them (I traded my PW with RGs at 25k miles) usually replaces them by 40k but that...
Strongly doubt you'll have it before Thanksgiving. Even if they start production on 11/9 and you're one of the 1st lucky 2023s they start building, you're looking at at least a month of delivery time after it gets a window sticker. And that's if they don't push back the start of 23s even further.
There used to be 2 dealerships in Idaho that offered discounted pricing, Dennis Dillon in Caldwell and another maybe Peterson in Nampa? not sure if they still do. Maybe someone has recent business with them that can verify?
6/8 order, so 3 months already and still D. Now I'm not complaining, because there are plenty of other TRX orders waiting still from long before me, but in 3 months and 1 day I had my new Jeep 392 which everyone on the 392 board was saying would take much much longer, so I guess I got spoiled a...
If you're going to post an opinion you should probably have some experience with the thing you're commenting on. But feel free to keep commenting as the more you say, the more obvious it is that you don't know what you're talking about. [emoji57]
You're definitely not cross shopping Nitto Ridge Grapplers if you ended up with Michelin Defender LTX, completely different tire design/purpose. Competitors for the RGs are the Toyo Open Country AT3, BFG KO2, Falken Wildpeak AT3, etc. and are all off-road tires that handle well on road. The...
Just because a tire is rated up to 65psi doesn't mean it has to be inflated to that psi. Your tire psi is specific to your truck's weight/load. I've got Falken Wildpeak AT3/Ws in 35x12.5r17 with a max psi of 65 on my Jeep 392. I run them at 36psi on the street and they handle and ride great.
Have you ever had RGs on your truck because that's definitely not the case. I had them on my PowerWagon for around 25k miles and a couple of SD winters before trading it in and they performed excellently on snow, ice or rain. They're also a lot quieter than some other popular AT/MT tires and...
