Is it a big deal to install yourself? a replacement? Installing a 2nd horn would be no problem but really dont want to run wire into the cabin and deal with that. I thought maybe its easy to get to the existing one to just swap out. Thanks.
I'm sure an airhorn is not legal as your main horn here in NY. :) Nanny states dont let you breath without their permission but there must be ones that are not that crazy or loud that you can get that just sound better than stock.
Has anyone replaced their horn with something more fitting of a truck? Like putting in something that does not sound so wimpy? :)
Airhorn or other? Is it easy to do? What horn did you get?
I keep all the tie down straps in there. Wish it would fit my hitch and ball but its just a little too small. :( so that sits under the rear of the drive seat. :(
No, i dont leave it on the truck. I dont use it often enough. :)
Yes, and if your like me and have one of these type of cameras, even though the front facing sensor is not blocked, the auto dimming will not work. :( :(
I have been going to the local self power wash. $5 each time. At least gets off most of the salt. Only bad thing about a Black Night Edition. Its dirty again by the time I drive 60 seconds down the road. :)
Appreciate all the thoughts! If its bad for a 1500, I certainly dont want to do it. But my use is just like yours @DIRTRIDER
I plan to do my driveway which would take 10 minutes probably with it then take it off. Never leaving it on so not adding that weight to the front. The blade would be...
Didnt know they didnt recommend it for the 2019-2020. No, i never considered a plow before. Not like i would be doing snow plow work with it, it would only be for my personal driveway probably a couple times per winter to make life easier but certainly would look into it more to make sure its...
After getting 24" of snow the last two days, and having to clear it 4 times with my ATV (takes about 1.5 hours each time - 250' driveway) , I was thinking about getting a plow installed. Anyone have one in their 1500? Any recommendations on a plow? I see whole kits in the just under $2000 range...
I think this is true for all vehicles. :) All of them that I have had are that bad, Ford, Chrysler, Kia, etc. Using an iPhone or Android phone to navigate is the only way that works right.
I have the same with the 5.7 bed. About the same millage at this point too. I get 13.5-14 Average with some around town and some highway. I just took a ride to a client and did about 65/70mph both ways (5 hours total) and got 18.7 average. So I would say that is about the same. I would never...
I have not tried it connected via Bluetooth, (im sure mine will be just like piening2150's) but the reason I use the button to activate it is if you have music playing at a higher volume its easier to press the button for 2 seconds that try to talk louder over the music to get Google to respond...
