My truck started to do that early this spring, left front started acting up first then the left rear joined the party, pretty sure the batteries are done for, planning on replacing the transponders soon.
I have been subscribing for several years. You can get a one month subscription for not much money.
There might be alternatives but have not bothered researching any further.

Get alfaobd, compatible OBDII interface and a SGW cable, see what codes are popping up and or modules not communicating.

That, in my uneducated opinion, would point to the heater core, could be wrong tho.
The console, just a few fasteners and a ground connection, no big deal according to service procedure in AlldataDIY.
Stellantis never gave it to you or me from the get-go.
Had to add around half of a gallon to my reservoir in order for it to register at the half point.
To me, that does not look like oil in the coolant.
Smell and/or taste the residue, is it sweet or oily, should give you an answer without...
Pretty sure the dipstick in my truck looked like that, also had no or minimal coolant without any obvious leaks.
Added some coolant to the reservoir, been fine so far.
Does it taste sweet or oily? sweet = dried up coolant, oily = no good.
I have never seen my climate control switch to recirculate on its own when in auto, it does the opposite and occasionally switches to outside air then back to recirculate.

Yes it takes some force but pops right up.
There is a design flaw that allows the rear brakes to vibrate when cold and damp.
They issued couple TSB`s that tried to eliminate the noise.

You mean when closing the door? The radio should shut down and the light turn on when opening the door.
Perhaps the door control module is acting up?

Just to add... had it for `97 Expedition, 2000 GC, 2014? something scion. Very useful for all of them.
