    That, in my uneducated opinion, would point to the heater core, could be wrong tho. The console, just a few fasteners and a ground connection, no big deal according to service procedure in AlldataDIY.

    Change it before the trip. I do an oil and filter when it says 50% life left, usually around 5k miles.

    Coolant loss

    Pretty sure the dipstick in my truck looked like that, also had no or minimal coolant without any obvious leaks. Added some coolant to the reservoir, been fine so far. Does it taste sweet or oily? sweet = dried up coolant, oily = no good.

    I have never seen my climate control switch to recirculate on its own when in auto, it does the opposite and occasionally switches to outside air then back to recirculate.

    You mean when closing the door? The radio should shut down and the light turn on when opening the door. Perhaps the door control module is acting up? Get a one month subscription to AlldataDIY for troubleshooting.

    I am happy with it, very accurate IMO, took some getting used to navigating thru it, lot of information. Try the one month subscription to see if you like it. Just to add... had it for `97 Expedition, 2000 GC, 2014? something scion. Very useful for all of them.
