Took mine in and had the windshield replaced, and the owner said that as long as they didn't turn the key on before all was hooked back up there most likely would be no need for a calibration, and he was right . all is working just fine.
I don't thnk that was the e-torque, it was the computer/computers. All the e-torque does is start the engine while using stop/start at stop signs. Don't blame the starter, there is something else going on there.
