If you consider the thousands of parts, manufactures by hundreds of companies, in untold countries that probably hate us, by less than inspired individuals having not so good days and sometimes bad attitudes, it really is a wonder that any number of vehicles have similar economy. Guess he's too young for good old Eastwood movies. Kids nowadays have no idea what a good movie looks like. Movie was 1980, before photoshop. Had a friend in the 70' that picked up a small block and set it in the back of a station wagon. Needless to say, he lifted weights a little.

    Ram 1500 2023 etourque - junk

Actually, it doesn't. It's from my days in the cav. So, what does that tell you? That I have a low tolerance for whiners? If you can fix it, fix it. If you can't, then get someone that can. Fuel tank capacity

Never trust a fuel gauge. 1/4 tank on the gauge means nothing. If you want a semi accurate number, carry six 5gal cans and run it dry, then fill it and see what it takes.

    Poor gas mileage

You believe what you want. Robots aren't perfect. Engine manufacturing doesn't produce IDENTICAL engines, as tooling wears, and bores and other machined surfaces varey. If electric components are identical, then why do some work for the life of the truck, and others fail as soon as one of us...
