All personal preference to be honest. I prefer the look with these caliper covers that have the small details on them opposed to painting the stock ones. There are some caliper covers that look cheap, but I don’t feel the rough country ones look cheap.
As for heat, the back of these covers are...
The caliper covers are the rough county ones with a little customization. Sanded down the ones from RC and coated them with the VHT high heat primer, white, then clear coat.
They were missing something, so I ordered some of the RAM tail light stickers in gloss black from Reflective Concepts...
Thanks! I bought my sway bar without the links used from someone else, so I just decided the go with the 4x4 ones since they had a good deal on them for Black Friday.
The steps make a big difference and I like the looks of them…as for the turn signals being approved, I don’t think she’ll ever notice them being different lol
Busy weekend with installs…
Finished up the Hellwig sway bar with core 4x4 links
Corrected the speedometer calibration with the hyper tech speedometer tool
Installed the GoRhino RB20 steps (kids and wife approved)
S&B cold air intake
Sequential mirror turn signals
And finally some custom...
Weather hasn’t been cooperating lately, but will try to get some pics with the front end facing the sun this time. With everything behind the grille really black nothing really stands out, but it’s still just enough to catch a few details behind the grille, which I kind of like.
Weather looks...
I did the black overlays just to see if I liked the look of black handles on a white truck, and I have to say that I’m a fan. Covers fit good and you can’t really tell they are covers. Being covers though, and being a high wear item, I’m not confident these will hold up forever. When they start...
It’s really hard to get pics to show the detail on the grille for sure!
I go back and forth on the letters and lighting. The company I got the metal from also makes custom lettering and designs that look pretty sweet, but I really like the clean and simple look with how it is now.
Tried to get...
Yeah, the camera would add some difficulty, but I’m sure it could be done. Maybe a different metal pattern that has slightly bigger openings so the camera would blend in more. Not really sure how the camera mounts on the front grille, but I think it’s just under the Ram letters centered up?
Adding a couple more pics of the grille taken apart. On the outside piece, you can see the clips that hold the black plastic frame in. Once you cutout all the horizontal lines, the metal needs to be trimmed to fit just inside the clips. Then the outside chrome or color piece clips back into the...
Decided to make a custom grille for the RAM. Ran across some pics of someone else doing the same and knew I had to do it at some point (don’t remember where I saw the initial post).
Anyways ordered some metal from custom car grills and decided to give it a try.
So, basically the Ram grille...
Been lurking around the forum for awhile and figured I’d finally make a new member intro post.

Perfect! I was looking at these and wondering about how to wire up the red backlight to the tail lights and the bright white light to the reverse light. Will be watching for updates to include the wiring harness on these as well!
For those of you guys that have installed the Mopar lift, orp front springs and running 35’s...what is your overall total height of the truck? Wanting to make sure I can still use my garage after installing the lift.
