I've had Borla S, Magnaflow (which ever exits before the rear wheel), and Flowmaster (cannot recall the type, 2 chamber, maybe) and all of them had me wishing for the stock exhaust within an hour. ***These were all Fords; the 6.2L, the 5.8L, the 4.6L, and the 5.0 (coyote), so the Hemi might be...
..I took mine in while still under warranty for this TSB and they looked at my like I had three heads.. now, acouple months ago while getting the second cracked manifold replaced, they came out with this tsb 'update' and 4-5 others my truck 'needed' but were not covered under the 5yr 60k...
Can't remember exactly what I did with this one.. but I usually do the first change at 1k-1.5k, next at 5k, and then every 5k after that. Makes it pretty easy to keep track of.
Mobil One and a Mopar filter, usually the SRT one.
Installed it two oil changes ago. 100% worth the cost.
The RAM's oil change went from being the worst vehicle I maintain (13 vehicles), to being one of the easiest.
Front end links are another common issue with the 5th Gen. Mine took 6 +/- months to come in and were covered under warranty.
Depending on how cool your dealer is, you might get kickback for the level kit.
Question: I always thought 5th wheels were heavier than bumper pulls, more like 15% + for their tongue weight? So a 6,500lb would be around 975+ lbs, add in the fuel, hitch, and a person in the front seat, you're over 90% of the RAM 1500's payloads on the road.
About time they updated that app.
No, I did not renew for two reasons: 1) cost, it should be free. It was on all my Fords and the app was 100x better. 2) it never worked.. the delay was so bad that it would either timeout or take over 5 minutes to complete the request. By then I was in the...
I'm sure you'll be over the payload rating list on your door sticker.
Also, remember to subtract the weight of any mods you have done, fuel, you, passengers, etc from that total.
Not sure how much it helps, but the trailer I tow is 24x8 1/2. I can just see down the side of the trailer with the regular mirrors blindspot mirror.
The blindspot monitoring system works pretty well, as long as it's an actual vehicle next to the trailer and not a motorcycle riding right next...
While it will get alittle better.. it won't be world changing. My trucks lifetime (hand calculated - Fuelly App) mileage is in the high 15's last I checked. That's mostly highway driving with a 40 mile, each way, commute. Throw in several long highway trips and a few thousand miles towing. Well...
